Chapter Five: The Sewer (Part one)

   "Ughhh my head...what happened?" Riley found herself in what seemed like a dark sewer. She started to walk around wondering how she's not dead and where she was. After she walked for about 2 minutes she felt something sticky on her back. She reached back in the darkness and felt the cold thick sewer slime.

   "EWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!" She screamed. She tried to get it off but it just stuck to her.

   "Well great..." she sighed as she walked around the room she was in. She looked up but it was complete darkness. So she just put her hands out to feel he surroundings. she wandered off into a very dark tunnel (or so it would seem) and she walked for a few hours. Eventually she started to search for the others.

   "AEDAN! FRANCESCO! TYLER!" She screamed out hoping they would hear her...they didn't. She wandered off for another hour or two and just gave up.

   "UGH this is impossible!" She complained as she sat down on what seemed like a sewer lid leading further down into the abyss. she just closed her eyes and accepted her fate....to die....in a dark disgusting sewer.

        After hours of her just sitting doing nothing she felt the lid under her shake.

   "Huh? what was that?" she inquired as she got up cautiously. The lid shook again and she held her fists up even if she couldn't see what was happening while saying

    "Hello? Whos there?" The lid finally got lifted up and it was thrown right beside her.

   "AHHHHHHHHHH!" Riley screamed as she started to run away.

   "RILEY WAIT!" A familiar voice said behind her. She stopped in her tracks but slipped on the sludge anyways

   "OOF!" she said as she face planted into the sticky slime.

   "Aedan?!" She yelled out to the voice.

   "Yeah its me..." he said as he created a tiny green light so they could see.

   "W-why is your light green?" she asked as she got up and backed away.

   "I don't really know...it might be the magic energy coming from the sewers." he said as he walked closer

    "Oh..." She replied.

   "Cmon we need to find the others." Aedan said as he held her hand so they don't get separated.

                                                                            -Francesco's POV-

        "Hello? Where are you guys?!" I yelled. I couldn't find the others at all, not even a trace.

   "Crap...I don't want to loose them...did they already capture them? I REALLY hope not..." I said worriedly. I walked in the maze for what seemed like days, But I did research on the whole kingdom and knew it was just its magic energy making an illusion. Day night day night day night. It went on forever but I was really just there for a few hours. I heard the outside...in fact i was right next to it but I wasn't just gonna leave my friends to rot, wither and die. I hummed and hawed for a while thinking of a way to find them.

   I sighed and just sat on a boring old mossy rock. Drip....drop...ploosh. It was starting to rain so I thought id use my skills and build camp. I found a lot of sticks and made a teepee over the mossy rock. I sighed as I layed on the mossy rock under my shelter thinking of how I could find the others. There was so much wind blowing the hedge's leaves were being blown away, but it was a benefit because the leaves would catch on my roof and add more insulation.

   I looked down at the path that now turned into a river. It was raining so hard that I couldn't even see five feet in front of me. I looked at my reflection in the water. I saw my silky black hair and hazelnut skin with my beautiful Hazel eyes.

   I just thought of something to find them! I grabbed a huge leaf from behind me and made it into a funnel shape. Now all I had to do was scoop some water from the rain. I leaned out from the rock I was on trying not to get swept away from the water rushing down the hill I was on. I couldn't get the water near me because it was too shallow and I would be carried down from the magic affected water. I leaned out more trying just to get a decent amount of water.

   "Almost...there!" I stretched my arm even further trying to scoop the water.

   "WAHHHHH" I screamed as I slipped of the rock I was on.

   "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed. I'M GOING TO DIE! I was being pushed so fast it was scraping my skin as blood soothed into the water.

   "OWWWWW!" I cried. There was so much blood clouding up the water it just seemed it was raining blood. I must of been going fast because the rain felt like little knives stabbing my face. There was a rock dead ahead of me.

   "AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I Screamed as I was about to hit the rock. I could feel the vines of the hedge trying to grab me but  was going too fast. 3....2.....1.....

         "W-where am I?" I inquired as i got up in a dark room.

   "Franchesco!" I heard a familiar voice say behind me.

   "Tyler?" I said back.

   "Yeah....its me..." he said as I heard him sloshing in what seemed like water. I couldn't see anything since it was pitch black but I trusted him because I knew his voice.

   "Come on, let's find the others." Tyler said as he grabbed my arm.
