I trudged down stairs the next morning in a half asleep daze. I had gotten more than enough sleep last night but I still felt tired and exhausted, probably a consequence of getting like no sleep while we had been on tour. I'm sure my sleeping patterns would get back to normal soon though. I walked into the kitchen just to see Jenna and Brooke sitting there at the small bench in the middle of the room, looking like they were deep in conversation. They stopped talking the second I walked in, looking up at me quickly as if they had just been caught.
"Oh, it's just Kellin," Jenna said, sighing in relief.
"What did I just walk in on?" I asked them. They exchanged glances and grinned at each other before looking back at me.
"Was your night as, um...exciting as ours?" Brooke asked, giggling. Oh, of course they're talking about sex. I sighed and sat on the little stool across from them.
"No," I said, huffing.
"Tell us about it, babe," Jenna said. Sometimes these two girls treat me as though I'm another girl in the house. Not that I can blame them or anything because I do act kind of over dramatic, sensitive and girly sometimes. Plus since they see Vic as like the "man" of the relationship, I guess I just instantly get categorized as a girl. It kind of bothered me, but I didn't really mind all that much. I get along with them better than the guys anyway.
"We had a...I don't even know. It wasn't even an argument. I just...I got a call from this magazine place that wanted an interview, so I took the call and it was a long phone call so by the time I was done we were both tired," I told them.
"You blew him off for a phone call?" Brooke asked incredulously.
"It wasn't just any old phone call. I can have sex with Vic at any time and I-"
"Sex with Vic at any time? Sounds good to me," Vic's voice came from behind me. Ah yes, speak of the devil and he shall appear. I slipped off the stool and turned around, giving him an innocent look and pretending that I wasn't just gossiping about him.
"Are you talking to them about our sex life again?" Vic asked, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Who me? No, of course not," I lied. Vic rolled his eyes and walked towards me.
"You're lucky I love you," he said and kissed my cheek before walking around me to get a glass of water. I turned back to the girls to see them grinning at me. I put my finger to my lips to tell them to be quiet because I knew they were about to start gushing about how cute we are together.
"Kellin, go get ready. We have to be at the shop in half an hour," Vic said, well demanded more like it. I had totally forgotten that it was mine and Vic's turn to run the music store today. I nodded and waved goodbye to the girls before jogging back upstairs to get ready.

"Ugh, why is today going to slow?" I questioned as I leant against the front counter of the shop. I started pressing random buttons on the cash register only to have Vic slap my hand away from it. He came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me back to him. I relaxed in his arms and rested my head against his shoulder.
"Stop complaining. We've only been here for an hour," he said and proceeded to leave small kisses on my neck, making my skin go hot.
"Don't do that. You know what happened last time," I said. He chuckled and mumbled a 'mhm'.
"Yeah, we had a lot of fun," he said.
"A customer walked in on us," I reminded him. This only made him chuckle a little bit more. Of course he would find the whole situation funny. I just pouted and cross my arms, moving my head away as he tried to kiss my cheek. He just laughed at me a little more and let go of me so he could get back to work.
