it had been a few months since we started practice for the team. it was December 25th, Christmas day. we had been invited to a friends house for Christmas dinner. it was amazing. after we got home i went to get Blittz out of her stall to clean her cause she was covered in dry mud and we had practice in a few days. i put her halter on her and led her out of her stall. i noticed that she was limping on her back right foot and couldn't put any weight on it. it was terribly swollen and i freaked out, think she broke her leg somehow. she was fine earlier today when i put her in her stall? how did she injure herself?? i took a moment to collect myself and did what i thought should be done. i put linemint on her leg and loved on her. i didn't want to make things worse so i put her back in her stall, letting her rest. i know shes 18 but why is it always my horse getting injured? or me for that matter..

i don't know if i've said this or not but this book is based on true events in my life with some added things, like the story line of me telling my daughter stories about my teen years, about my horse that i have irl. i wanted to do something different so thats why i made this book this way. sorry i haven't updated. i've been busy with my horses and work.
