Entering his room, Emma had laid a bag on the bed. Seeing it was another fancy dress, knowing it was going to be a dreadful night of trying to breath properly. "Hello, Elanor. I see you found the dress. I'm here to help if you would like me too?"

"I would love your help." Emma smiled, walking over to the bag, unzipping it for me.

"I think you are going to like this dress." She said, pulling it out of the bag.

"I hope so!" Walking into the bathroom, getting a bath started. The bathroom smelling like Alex, smokey wood and honey with a touch of cinnamon.

Undressing and hopping into the warm bath, cleaning myself off. And then Emma helped me with my long hair, cutting it a little, getting rid of the dead parts. Stepping out of the bath, and wrapping a towel around my body. Looking in the mirror, my hair was to my mid back, still to my liking.

Changing into undergarments, and walking out to the bed. Finding my dress laying out, and it was beautiful! A midnight blue dress, a heart shaped top, long and floor length.

Also, was strapless, sparkles were scattered down the dress with a lot of glitter one the top. Touching the fabric, and it was soft, different from how it looked. Slowly, Emma and I lifted the dress and having it fit me perfectly. Sliding on silver high heels, also, diamond necklace and bracelet. Smiling as I stood in front of the mirror, twirling around.

Emma smiled at me, "You look amazing! The Prince did a wonderful job picking out the outfit."

Turning around, confused, "He picked this out?"

Emma nodded her head, "I have never seen him work this hard for someone before. The royal tailor said he was up all night trying to think of ideas to make the dress." I was completely shocked when she told me this.

"Are you ready? Alex asked me to escort you to dinner." I nodded, as Emma opened the door.

Walking down the hallway, the sound of my heels clicking against the stone. Becoming nervous, realizing I hadn't attended a nice dinner in a long time.

A guard opened the door for me, and Emma stayed outside, giving me an encouraging smile. Pushing me a little, as I stumble into the room. Alex saw me, getting out of his chair. Walking over to me, giving me his arm. Taking it, "You look beautiful, Elanor." He whispered in my ear.

A blush creeping onto my cheeks, "Thank you... You look nice too." I said.

Alex wore a white button shirt, with a black jacket, and black pants. We came to where we were sitting. Alex pulled a chair out for me, and I sat down. Scooting me in and he then sat beside me. That's when I noticed his father sitting across. Seeing that he too just sat down.

"You must be Elanor. The girl my son can't stop talking about. And the one that gave him some trouble." His tone went from nice to unfriendly, but I still gave him a smile.

"I am sorry if I did anything that troubled you. I was just doing my job."

"And what is your job?"

"I can not say. It is private, and it's also up to Alex to tell you."

After that awkward conversation, dinner started and we all made some small talk. Soon we all finished eating, sitting there sipping our wine. Alex and I talking for the remainder of the night. Occasionally I caught the King staring at us, worried.

"Excuse me, but Elanor... Why are you here? It can't just be for your job, or whatever your on. There has to be a good reason for you to be here, since our families are no longer friends." He said.

I was shocked, wondering why he still kept that picture in the hall. "I thought our families were still friends, my father said..."

"Oh, I see your father. He was the one who did this between our families, marrying an elf it was forbidden back in our days. Your elf of a mother took my lovely wife away from me. Your whole family is the reason I am stuck in this castle, wondering if my wife will come back to me." I looked from Alex to his father. Startled by his outburst.

Alex was staring at his father, also shocked as I was. I grew angry, not caring if he was the King.

"I had nothing to do with that. And your son has to do this for the greater good of the world. Because you didn't do it yourself, and I want to apologize about your wife." I said.

The mood in the room, changing in the matter of minutes. "I don't want your apologies, you elf bitch! No one can trust you people, disloyal and dishonest kind." He said, standing slamming his hands on the table. I too stood up, staring him in the eyes.

"Well, I guess I will be going. Alex, it's up to you. Just remember you have to do this for the greater good of our kind. Because your father was a coward." I said, storming out of the room.

Emma saw me and started to stop me, but I just pushed past her. Running through the halls, tears starting to form. Wanting to get fresh air, and finding the gardens. Taking my shoes off, smelling the fresh air. Escaping the world, shifting as I ran into the woods.
