Friendship Or Love? (Raglak Few Shots)

Chapter-15

Wow! Finally we reached 15th chapter. This will be first story of mine to cross 15 chapters.

"will devil's appear when we call it's name Laksh?" Kartick asked. "I don't think so, why?" Laksh asked confused. "the devil is here Laksh" he said and pointed at the corrider. Laksh opened hiis eyes wide when he saw Swara walking towards them.

Ragini was seriously working in her system when she saw Swara there but she ignored her and started minding her own business, until she heard a knock at her door.

"come in" she said not moving her eyes form the file. "seems like someone is busy with work and all" that voice made her frown and Ragini looked up to find Swara standing there.

"I'm the owner of half shares of this company and I do have work to be busy, unlike you who had the only job of poking your nose in other people's life" Ragini gave a fitting reply and swara who Expected Ragini to became sad got disappointed.

"You learned to act well, aren't you" Swara asked and Ragini gave no response. "Anyway, you are my half sister and I too have concern about your life. Seems like there is no one is there for you. Look Laksh married me and we have a child too and Aarav also married some woman and have a child. What about you?" Swara paused when she Saw Ragini glaring her.

" You too have to move on Ragini. You do need a partner, aren't you? You can't spent your entire life alone Ragini. It's really sad to see you like this Ragini" Swara said giving a sad reaction.

"Aadu nanaiyuthu nu Oonai ku varuthamam" she said and Swara gave a confused reaction. "oh you don't know Tamil na, let me explain. There is a old saying in Tamil that " a wolf felt sad for the goat which is getting wet in Rain" even your concern for me is like that. When you envy me that much why to lie like you are feeling sad for me and all" Ragini replied and Swara frowned at her.

"Anyway I have work unlike you so you better leave me alone now" Ragini said and swara stomped her leg and left that place.

"Laksh why did this Devil went to meet Ragu, that's not good though" Kartick asked his doubt and Laksh gave out a chuckle. "they have a long term relationship Kartick" he said and moved out before Swara reach his cabin.

"Why are you here?" Laksh asked making Swara stop in her tracks. "I bought food for you hubby" she said with a sly smile.

"stopped calling me hubby and no one asked you to bring food" he said in a cold tone.

"You know Apsara is under my control" she said and he slapped her.

"Are you back mailing me with Appu's life. That child loves you as her mother, don't you have heart" he looked at her disgust. "She may love me as a mother but I'm not her true mother" she said and Laksh turned his head to the other side.

"Don't show your face to me" he said "sorry I can' t do that she said and smirked when she saw Ragini walking towards there.

" Laksh I made all your favorite food items okay please do eat all " Swara said and moved away.

Laksh looked at that the food carrier." God give me a bottle of poison than this please" Laksh said looking above. But a smile crept his face when he found the lunch box Ragini is carrying similar to the one in his hand.

"Hello Ragini, I'm Rithu. Heard you are new here so I thought to accompany you to lunch" A new girl said with a smile and Ragini liked that. "sure, nice to meet you" she said and they both sat on same table.

"Hey, Rithu how can you accupy my place. It's my treat today and I will eat with Ragini " Kartik hit Rithu's shoulders and she glared him.

"Ragini, you know this monkey before?" Rithu asked and Ragini nodded.

"Ragini remember the deal na? Your lunch box is for me and you can get whatever you want from the canteen" he said and Rithu and they three moved towards the canteen.

Ragini and Rithu started enjoying their meal and karthik, with lot of expectation opened the lunch box. As soon as he placed the first bite his eyes teared up.

"it was my mistake to think that beautiful girls make good food. I shouldn't have made this deal" Karthick thought when he felt his troat burning because of spicy and it tasted like she added a ton of salt in it.

"How is it Karthick?" asked when she saw him not eating. "it is so wonderful, I'm enjoying every but of it" he said and Rithu smiled.

"if you love this, then I can bring one for you tomorrow too" Ragini asked and Karthik horrified.

"nono.. No, I mean I will manage I didn't want you to take risk for me" he said.

On the other side Laskh eat with lot of happiness. It has been years and he tasted a good home made food today. Form the day Swara entered their house no one in his house talked with hims and stopped cooking for him too. All they said is that, "your wife will cook for you".

After that today he is eating the world's best food. That too his Ragini's hand made food. For a second he felt bad for Kartik too. "Soory Karthik I made you eat poison. Adjust for me. Rip 'he thought and started enjoying his lunch.

" Ragini, today is your first day are you feeling odd today?" Rithu asked and Ragini can feel the concern in her voice and believed that Rithu will be a great friend for her.

"it's not like that Rithu, I'm comfortable here and I'm happy to get a friend like you too" Ragini said with a smile.

"What do you think about your M.D Laksh Maheshwari" Ragini asked maintaining a casual voice.

"he is a nice man, good looking and very hard working. He often used to say that this business empire of him is gift of someone close to his heart and so he has to make the best of it. And he won't smile often. It was today I saw him smile more than one time and I really don't know the answer" Rithu said keeping her eyes on Ragini.

"and then" Ragini asked. She wanted to know how Laksh changed over these years.

"and you can see him in office whenever you want. He will be here in early morning and in late night. Few told me that he rarely goes his house and will stay in the penthouse at the top floor" she said and Ragini wondered why he is doing that.

"okay Ragini, I have works let's meet later" Rithu said and Ragini started doing her works.

"hello Aarav, this is Rithu" she said as soon as Aarav picked the phone. "Haan say" he said. "Ragini is okay, even I tried to support Laksh. But that Kartick is nagging at her much" she reported.

"okay, have eyes on him too. Until he is in his limits it's okay when he crosses that don't hesitate to do what I said and try to make more situation for Ragini and Laksh to have a open conversation that Will do many good" Aarav said. "Haan, I will take care" Rithu said and disconnected the call unaware of the pair of eyes that is watching her..

Aarav sighed on relief as everything is okay. But he had a small fear deep inside him about what harm that one person can cause.

"Aarav, why did you send Ragini to the office. We could have controlled them from here na? Why did you send her there?" Aparna asked Aarav closed his eyes frustrated.

"She has to be independent, I didn't know when I will die like my father, before that I have to make sure that she is strong and independent" Aarav raised his voice.

"You care about her okay, but risking everything is not needed Aarav" she said in a low voice. She knows her husband and yet the newly Raisen fear in her heart after that recent phone call from unknown number is making her speek. She is afraid that Aarav may lose everything while trying to give Ragini the life she wishes.

"I'm your wife and we have child. We do worry about your safety" she said those words and regretted immediately.

"You know what Ragini means to me and yet you asked this, remember this Aparna, you are my wife only because  of Ragini. And you know what she did to you. Better stay in your limits" Aarav said and Aparna left the spot immediately wiping her tears.
