MY AUNT'S WEDDING

After their wedding,
     their relationship comes
     to a halt--- a tragic one,
     a barbaric one.

Kisses become sweet lies,
laughter becomes
harsh cries.

No more hugs,
only punches,
no more love,
no more chances.

They lose faith along the way,
causing them to
no longer stay.
