ONE SHOT VERSE

Books sleeping on her bed,
pages are already
beginning to fade.

"I'm going to work my dreams,"
she said, and she's living
with it instead.

Her friends might be ahead,
but she's sure that
her path is not misread.

Hope, stars, and poetry,
she's a one-shot verse
