MishBir: The Fight Ends

Back to reality?

It had always been like this for them. They would be perfectly happy when they were alone with each other, but when they were at home, or around people, things would just keep going bad to worse. Abir couldn't fight these thoughts as they approached Rajvansh Sadan. He braced himself for what he thought would be a major fight between Mishti and Kuhu. He braced himself for Big Ben's new drama since they left without telling her. He had always done that, but he didn't think Mishti would get the same consideration from his mother.

As soon as Abir entered, Kunal spotted him and ran and hugged him.
Kunal- "Bhai, aap theek ho. Kal se aapka phone off hai. Aur Mishti ka phone not reachable. Maine resort mai bhi phone kiya but unlogo ne kaha ki Mishti ne toh subah hi check out kar liya tha. Kahan hai Mishti?"

Abir- "Mai theek hoon, voh hume kuch logo ne lift diya, toh Mishti bas unko bye bolke aa rahi hai"

Everyone, except Kuhu and Big Ben, gathers to meet Abir when Mishti enters.

Kunal- "Mish.. Bhab... Mai voh mai.."
Mishti giggles at this
Kunal- "Actually I am really sorry. Tum humare saath aana chati thi, aur mai itni hadbari mai tha ki mai aise hi nakal gaya. Voh toh jab maine resort call kiya tab mujhe pata chala ki tum subah humare saath hi nikalna chahti thi... I am extremely sorry. Ma ke call se mai bahaut pareshan ho gaya aur meri vajah se Bhai bhi pareshan ho gaye. Tum mujhe maaf karo na karo please Bhai ko maaf kar dena.. voh Bhai dikhate nahi hai, but mujhe pareshan dekh nahi paate aur bewajah cheezo pe gussa karte rehte hai. Actually voh...."

Mishti places her hand on Kunal's shoulder and says- "Oh my god Kunal, relax. Sab theek hai. Mai kisi pe bhi gussa nahi hoon.. sacchi."

Seeing Mishti smile Kunal relaxes.
Ketu approaches Mishti- "Bhabs, ye chot kaise lagi aapko?" Ketu notices the small tear on the clothes and the scratch on Mishti's arm. Abir had cleaned the wound last night, but he couldn't find any medicine or clean cloth to cover the wound.

Mishti- "Kuch nahi Ketu, tu toh jaanti hai mai aise hi cheezo se takrati rehti hoon.. Ma kahan hai?"

Big Ben- "Mai yahan hoon"

Mishti, approachs Big Ben, and takes her aashirwad. Abir follows.

Mishti- "Maa, I am really sorry. Mai bina bataye chali gayi aur phir kal raat toofaan ki wajah se kisi se baat bhi nahi kar paayi aur phir mere phone ka battery bhi dead ho gaya."

Big Ben- "Koi baat nahi, tumlog theek ho, yehi kaafi hai. Lekin ek baat hai maine tumse ye expect nahi kiya tha Mishti. Tum toh zimadar ho, tum kal raat mujhe ek baar toh phone kar sakti thi na. Tumhara phone nahi chal raha tha toh Resort se phone kar leti. Aisa toh hai nahi ki tum jungle mai bina phone ke phasi hui thi. Abir toh humesha se aisa hai, jab mann chaha, saman leke bina kuch bole ghar se nikal jaata hai. Maine toh uski chinta bhi chod di hai. Par tum iss ghar ki Bahu ho, meri zimadari ho. Agar tumhe kucjyho jaata toh mai tumahi Badi Maa ko kya kehti?

Mishti - I am sorry Maa. Aage se dhyan rakhungi.
Big Ben- okay, abhi mujhe ek meeting mai jaana hai, toh mai nikalti hoon.

Big Ben leaves and Kunal is about to leave when Mishti calls him aside.. Abir follows them and watches from a distance.
Mishti- Kunal, ek minute.. tumne Maa ko nahi bataya ki hum kal raat resort mai nahi the iske liye thank you...

Kunal- Mishti, isme thank you ki koi baat nahi hai, but jo kuch bhi hua.. Kuhu ne jo kuch bhi kaha, uske liye, I am extremely sorry"
Mishti- tumhe sorry bolne ki koi zarurt nahi hai.. vaise Kuhu kahan hai?

Kunal- "Voh apne ghar gayi hai, boli ki Gangaur tak vahi rahegi"

Mishti- "Oh.."

Just then Big Ben calls out from the car that she is waiting for Kunal.

Kunal- Sorry mujhe abhi jaana hoga.

Kunal leaves in a hurry and Parul Maasi arrives with a first aid box and applies medicine to Mishti's cut.

Parul Maasi- Vaise toh kaafi samajdar hoon, zimadar bhi ho, lekin pata nahi kahan dekh ke chalti rehti ho, uss din bhi dewar se takra gayi thi. Dhyan kahan rehta hai tumhara?

"Mujhpe.." Abir says sheepishly.. "Kash mai aisa keh sakta ki Mishti mere baare mai sochti hai, lekin isse mujhse pehle puri ghar ki phikar hai.. aap aaj ka hi dekh lo. Jab se hum ghar vaapas aaye hai, ek shabd toh kya mere taraf ek second dekha bhi nahi hai"

Parul Maasi- Badmash, meri pyaari bahu ko tang karna band kar.

Parul maasi is done bandaging Mishti arm and says "ek baar ke liye toh theek hai, but tayar hone ke baad phir se dawai laga lena" and leaves.

Abir comes towards Mishti, but is interrupted by Nanu who wants to tell him about the drama that unfolded when Kunal arrived yesterday.

Ketu- Bhabs, mereko laga ki you are my friend.
Mishti- Haan, toh hoon..
Ketu- Toh phir mujhe sach batao
Mishti- Kaunsa sach?
Ketu- Kal raat kya hua tha?
Mishti goes red in the face and flumbles- kk.. kya matlab kya hua tha.. kya hoga.. ek normal boring raat thi aur kya.. tu aise ajeeb sawal kyun puch rahi hai.. tu bhi apne bhai ki tarah 'ajeeb' ban chuki hai kya.. kuch bhi bolti hai aaj kal.. mai jaa rahi hoon..
Ketu is shocked as Mishti leaves.. Abir comes from behind and asks her what happened..
Ketu- pata nahi bhai, maine toh bass itna pucha ki kal raat ko kya hua, aur bhabhi weirdly behave karne lagi. Mujhe pata hai aap log resort mai nahi the, upar se bhabs ko chot bhi lagi thi, toh mai bas jaana chahti thi kal raat ko kya hua..

Abir smiles and goes to his room. Nanu had just told him a lot of things that would have to be dealt with, but right now, he was happy watching Mishti sit on the bed blushing.. seeing Abir at the door, Mishti got up quickly and said "Mujhe late ho raha hai, mai tayar hone jaa rahi hoon"

Abir- Late toh mujhe bhi ho raha hai
Mishti- Mujhe Badi Maa se milne jaana hai, Gangaur ke liye. Pehle mai ready houngi.
Abir- Mujhe aaj NGO ke potential investors se milna hai, bhul gayi? Ready pehle mai hounga.
Mishti- Badi Maa ne mujhe kal bhi phone kiya tha, mujhe already bahaut late ho gaya hai. Mai ready hone jaa rahi hoon bas.
Abir shuts the door and holds Mishti's hand- Vaise mere paas ek idea Jisse hum dono time pe tayar ho sakte hai..
Mishti-Abir.. ..
Abir smiles at her naughtily.. "Mishti"
Mishti- Abir..chodo mujhe..
Abir holds her waist and slowly walks towards the bathroom.
