"Hurry up nah" Fisayo said obviously in an hurry.
I rolled my eyes as I tied my sandals. I was wearing a blue short flay gown and rope sandals.
Our departmental orientation was today and Fisayo was in an hurry;reasons I couldn't decipher.
"Fisayo, the orientation is starting at 11am, and this is just past 9am, what's the hurry for?" I asked getting irritated at her constant "Hurry up".
"I'll get to see him today again!" Fisayo replied with a dreamy look in her eyes.
"Him? Who's him?" I asked as I grabbed my school bag.
Fisayo frowned unhappily at me "The guy I told you about nah, the one I met during reg" She replied.
"Ohh" I replied giving her a small smile "I forgot" I added.
"The hell you did" Fisayo replied.
I locked my wardrobe before putting my key inside my bag.
"Let's go" I said as we walked out of the room and locked the door.
We walked to the school area with Fisayo constant chatter about meeting "him".
I chuckled silently as we arrived at the lecture hall. Boldly written on the lecture hall was LT 1.
We both walked in and discovered that people were already inside.
A girl walked up to us before revealing a polite smile.
"Hello, are you both freshers?" She asked.
"Yes" Fisayo replied her eyes searching the hall.
"Go and seat at the last row" she said as we walked to the last row.
Some students were already sitter and while some were talking, some were looking distant and nervous.
Fisayo and I soon found a place to seat and we sat down.
"Fisayo!" A rather familiar voice called.
We both turned and it was Goodness and his friends.
Goodness jogged up the seats smiling as he got to us.
"Hey, how are you?" Fisayo said smiling as they exchanged hand shakes.
"Anjola, how are you?" Goodness asked and I smiled in return.
Goodness gave a long look before chuckling "Just adjust, I want to sit down" He said as I adjusted on the seat.
