CHAPTER 3

Narrator’s pov

Debby woke up with a jolt.

She turned to her right to see her sisters sleeping beside her.

She got off the bed and walked to the kitchen to grab something to eat since she was hungry.

“Good morning!” A voice startled Debby causing her to jolt again, she turned to see it was Genevieve.

“Sheesh Genevieve, you want to kill me?” Debby yelled almost smacking Genevieve in the process.

“Are you supposed to be the one in the kitchen, you could have sent someone instead” Genevieve said looking around for someone to call.

“Nah, don’t worry, I really wanted to force myself out of my sleepy state” Debby said waving Genevieve off.

“By the way, I have to discuss something with you about someone. Can you makeup time for me later. I don’t want to discuss it here because the walls have ears” Genevieve asked. Debby nodded and noted it down.

“Yeah, I will notify my secretary to call you when I get to office.” Debby said, Genevieve nodded and left.

Debby then called for the maids to serve her family their breakfast.

When she got to her room, Glory and Grace were already awake bouncing on her bed.

“Good morning!!” Grace yelled causing Glory to shush her.

“Debby, please can you show us around your biggg castle?” Glory asked with that cute big eyes.

“Yes, after you finish eating and have your bath, I will show the two of you round the castle.”

Glory and Grace jumped and ran to the first bathroom. Good thing Debby had another bathroom, she sighed and went to have her bath and after, dressed up.

Debby wore a forest green knee length flair gown with black heels and her butt length braids down.

By the time she got out of the closet, she saw her sisters waiting for her on the bed.

They must be really excited she thought.

They went to see their mum and dad, talked for a while until Debby decided to show them round the castle, the twins were very excited.

Debby remembered the first time she came here. She was more excited, and she still couldn’t believe someone can hand over a kingdom to an eighteen year old. The school sent two officials so she could officially meet the advisors. She was to learn under them how Arthis worked before she could be crowned Queen. Debby was given some series of tests to pass and two-third of the advisors were pleased with Debby being the Queen, while four despised her the moment they set their eyes on her, one of them being Advisor Williams.

Debby is actually glad to be the Queen but she wondered why they nominated someone from another planet, she’s sure they have more than enough people to lead the kingdom, Debby vowed in her heart to find the answer to that question.

After showing her sisters round the castle, she gave them to her personal guard Pablo to take to her parents because she had to attend to some matters.

Immediately she got to office, she notified her secretary, Ella to bring the result of the investigation she asked before her coronation on the previous king and his family.

As she sat on her seat, she made a call to Genevieve to come over immediately.

Five minutes later, Genevieve came in not even waiting for Ella to inform Debby.
