At the girls’ room: 6:37am.

Bang bang bang

A knock interrupted Cathy’s peaceful sleep. All her roommates were still asleep. She groaned, stood up and went to open the door glaring at the person before the person’s face was registered. When she saw it was Jacob, she glared harder.

“What do you want?”

Jacob gave a sheep smile. He just wanted to pull her out of bed to accompany him.

“Let’s go out and have fun.”

“I have class.”

“Come onnnn” Jacob dragged the ‘on’ and whined. “I will have you back before your class starts.”

“Why do you have to disturb my peaceful slee…” They dragged it on and ended up waking the others. Eventually, Jacob won and dragged her out.

“So where are you taking me?” Cathy asked. She was pretty pissed with Jacob right now. Jacob however was happy because that day was a very special day. He always celebrated this day alone but right now, he gets to spend it with a very grumpy Cathy.

“We’ll first get come coffee in you soo you can be a little less grumpy and then at the coffee shop we can enjoy the scenery of the sunrise. After that, we’ll go where our feet takes off.

After Cathy got caffeine into her system and was now fully awake and less cranky, she turned to the window to watch the sunrise. It was very beautiful, Cathy was lost in the sight of the colors blending together forming a very beautiful horizon, she forgot about her troubled life for a while. “It’s beautiful.” She wasn’t even aware when she said those words.

“Yeah.” Jacob agreed. However, he wasn’t even looking at the sunrise, he was staring at Cathy, she truly is beautiful, her beautiful long platinum blond hair cascading down reaching her waist that was currently packed to a ponytail, the silver eye shadow that makes her blue eyes pop out and her lips, oh that beautiful kissable lips.

Of course he didn’t like her just because she’s beautiful, he also liked her for her kind soul. She didn’t remember but he did. He was five, he had just lost his parents and he hid so his uncle will not take him to the orphanage, he didn’t want to go to the orphanage.

Flachback----------

He was playing on the swing in the park, he was dirty and hungry, and he hasn’t eaten for a day now. People just saw him and passed by, of course some tried to help him but he ignored them, the death of his parents was still fresh in his brain. Someone stopped in front of him and he planned to ignore the person as usual but the person wasn’t willing to leave him alone.

“Hi!” The person greeted with a cheerful voice, however he wasn’t interested.

“Hey, is your voice gone?” She asked trying to look into his line of sight, he turned his head away to avoid seeing her.

“You know, my mummy said if you have a problem, it’s good to talk about it.” That moment, his stomach decided to growl, he was really hungry.

“If you are hungry, you can eat my food.” She said. He turned to look at her, which was the first time he saw her, she was wearing a long pink blouse and white leggings. Her hair was let down with a pink bow on it.

He was really hungry so he took the food she was holding and ate out of it. The girl took the other part of it and ate it.

“My name is Catherine, my mum calls me Cathy. What’s your name?”
