YouTube 101

Meeting Him

I stood there unable to speak. The Connor Franta was standing in front of me.

"H-Hi. I'm Alyssa." I stammered. He smiled.

"Hi Alyssa! Are you by any chance a YouTuber?" he asked. I nodded.

"Y-yeah. I-I'm here f-for YouTube 101." I stuttered. Is the world supposed to spin this fast?

"Awesome! So am I!" he exclaimed. "It'll be so nice to see the boys again." I almost forgot Connor doesn't live with Jc, Ricky and Kian anymore.

"Is Trevor coming?" I asked.

"Yeah. Surprisingly." Trevor was only 16 so he was still in High School. It's cool that he was still offered to come here. He just probably won't take the same classes as everyone else.

"So what are you doing today?" He asked me.

"Oh I was just walking around. I'm going site seeing." I answered.

"Oh thats cool! You want me to show you around?" He suggested.

"Y-yeah o-okay."

"Great! Lets go." He said grabbing my hand. A warm feeling rushed up my arm all the way up to my cheeks.

We walked around for an hour and looked at so many things. All the while we got to know a lot about each other. We stopped in front of an ice cream shop. He looked at me excitedly.

''You wanna go in?"

"Okay sure." I didn't like ice cream that much but I was having fun with him. I got vanilla. We talked the whole time we ate.

"So are you staying at the Aria hotel?'' He asked.

"Yep."

"So am I. What room?"

"216"

"I'm 220." He told me.

"Cool! Our rooms are close." I smiled.

"Hey, you wanna be in my vlog?" I asked.

''Sure!" I smiled and took out my camera.

"Hey guys! I was going site seeing today when I bumped into..." I turned the camera to face Connor.

"Mr. Connor Franta!" He smiled and waved at the camera.

"Hiiiii!" He said energeticly. I turned the camera back to me.

"We're getting ice cream." I said eating some. "I just got vanilla. What did you get Connor?" I faced the camera to him.

"I have no idea what flavor this is but it was colorful and I wanted it." He answered and continue to eat. I giggled.

''He's here for YouTube 101 also.'' I explained, the camera still facing him. He nodded.

''Yep! And its gonna be fun! Real fun.'' He said. I laughed as he proceeded to eat his ice cream.

"I'm really excited for this. It seems really cool." I said, the camera now facing me. Connor nodded in agreement.

"Wait where is it?" I asked him.

"Oh it's really close. We can walk" he answered.

"Oh okay." I said. I turned off the camera and put it away.

"What time is it?"

"I don't know. Let me check." He said pulling out his phone. "4:50. Do you want to head back to the hotel?" He asked.

"Sure." I said getting up from the table we were sitting at.

"What's it like to be YouTube famous?" I asker him as we walled back to the hotel.

"Well, the way I look at it is that I'm just a regular person who happens to be watched by millions of people." He explained.

"Wow. So humble." He laughed.

''Its true! It's not like I'm a celebrity!"

"But what about when you go on tours? Don't you feel like a celebrity then?" I asked curious. He thought for a minute.

"Kinda. But it makes me so happy to see the faces that support me everyday."

"Awww thats sweet." He smiled.

"You want yo film a video together?" He asker randomly.

"I'd love to! When?"

"Tomorrow. So I can have it edited by Monday." He said.

"A Frantastic Monday" I giggled. He grinned.

"I see you watch my videos." He smirked. I blushed.

"Yeah. I do." I said shyly. We were quiet until we reached the hotel. Connor held the door open for me and we walked in.

"Well I'll come to you're room tomorrow. What time should I come?" He asked, pushing the elevator button.

"Mmm... one?" I suggested.

"Okay. See you then." He said as the elevator doors opened.

"Bye Connor!" I waved walking to my room.

"Bye Alyssa!" I took out the keys and unlocked the door. I flopped down on the bed and smiled. Connor seemed really nice. I reached inside my bag and pulled out my camera.

''So I'm back in my hotel room. Connor was really nice. We we're going to film a video together tomorrow. It'll be up on Monday." I said to the camera. I paused and thought of something else to say.

"Oh I don't think I showed you guys what the hotel looks like." I said getting up.

"This is the bed room." I said panning the whole room. I walked into the living room.

"This is the living room. I didn't know hotels had living rooms but I guess this one does." I said. I walked to the kitchen.

"And this is the kitchen. It has a full refrigerator." I said opening it. "Crazy I know" I walked back to the bedroom and sat on the bed.

"Well that's it for today guys. Bye!!!!" I turned off the camera. Once the footage was edited and uploaded, I started to plan a video idea for tomorrow. After 30 minutes of writing down ideas and getting distracted I finally came up with an idea. We're going to play Heads Up.

I opened up my laptop and looked at the coments on my video.

"OMG Alyssa you met Connor?!?! You're sooo lucky!!!"

"Connor and Alyssa in the same video?! I cant handel this much awesomeness!!!"

I smiled to myself as I read these. I didn't know so many of my viewers were fans of Connor. I closed my laptop and turned on the TV. I flipped through the channels until I found something that looked interesting. I spent the rest of the day watching TV until I fell alseep.
