The school heartthrob, Jimin smiled at me when our eyes met walking down the hallway.
He looked gorgeous, like every other day. I tore my eyes to somewhere else, behind him in the crowd.
Like every other day, I- with of course, the rest of the campus girls- gave him the glances but the only difference was I gave amiable glances while the other girls were admiring him with full of lust swirling in them. Jimin walked with a friend of his and bid him goodbye, before talking to me.
I used that time to take a closer look at him.
He neatly wore his school uniform and just as his tie was hanging loose, that looked cute. His dark brown hair were parted to the side, making him look more like an anime character. He most of the days wore contacts but today he was wearing black glasses, which were perfectly resting on the bridge of his small, straight nose.
Though he radiated proper good boy vibes, he wasn't what he should be perceived as.
He grinned, looking almost excited as he asked me, "Y/n! how are you?"
"Yeah, I am good. How bout you?" I slightly blushed, not looking into his eyes.
"Amazing. Come on, let's go to class together." He smiled wide revealing his crooked tooth.
"As you say."
My mind wandered why he spend time with me when he may get so much more prettier friends? All of them were certainly ten times better than me in all possible ways.
"Jimin! Y/N!" Sarah happily rushed towards us as soon as we enter our classroom. I and Jimin greeted her back. My eyes wandering around the classroom to see the daily activities of the high school students. Was the high school really meant to be this way? Everything was so typical here.
Taking advantage of not being under surveillance by an adult, the rowdy teenagers, easily distinguishable by the burgundy wrap around their waist, pulled out their prohibited mobile phones and the sound of camera shutters clicking against each other filled the room, as they ridiculously posed for the picture using unrecognizable facial expressions.
Paper airplanes were being manufactured with great precision at one end of the classroom and flown to the other end, hitting several annoyed children on the way and earning a good amount of foul-mouthed words in return.
In the corner of the room, a set of studious youngsters, Hoseok, Namjoon and Taehyung wearing large circular black-rimmed glasses, snorted loudly as they laughed while wheezing constantly.
Sliding my bag on fifth seat of the window side row where I sit with Sarah, I quickly glanced around the classroom to find any trace of Jin noticing there were no more than five minutes left for the school to officially start. Well- probably that wasn't the only reason for me searching of him.
"He's out of the class with his friends." I head a familiar voice whispering in my ears, it was Jimin speaking in his seducing note.
"I- I don't care!" I could've sworn I felt chills down my spine but was doubtful if that was cause of our proximity or his entirely turning on voice.
He presence was right behind me, I certainly was sure.
As I turned around to him, our faces were inches apart. He was stiffly towering over me with a burning gaze.
I realized my heart was stammering in my chest for some reason. This was the first time I'd ever seen Jimin like this. My vital organ an especially sharp pulse when his eyes slid down and zeroed in on my lips which I realized I was biting nervously.
"Really?" He whispered, his chocolate brown eyes darkening.
It was scary how my body was quickly beginning to burn up, how quickly my stomach was knotting.
