The rest whole day went faster than I had expected... until the last period, and of course the awkward glances I got the whole day.
Jimin and Jin didn't dare to come near me the entire day and I wondered why were they being all shy about that post? Wasn't I meant to do that?
"Good afternoon class!" Miss Sam, Our psychology teacher, said out enthusiastically.
"Good afternoon Miss. Sam!" All the students raised up from their seats and bowed in respect.
"Okay so, I have decided to give you'll a very interesting project this time!" Her pretty pink lips curled upwards and her honey-dripping voice echoed through the silent room.
On hearing the announcement, small little gossips spread all over the classroom right away.
"I wonder who'll be my partner this time." Sarah beamed at me.
"I know right? I'm so eager. Her project topics are always exciting." Excitement overtook my features and my face glowed instantly.
"Silence class!" Miss. Sam shouted.
"The topic this time is Disorders. These new generations are suffering a lot. I would love to see beautiful presentations by you lot, on how to resolve and support the people suffering from various disorders."
"And as you all know, like every time, we will have two students paired up together but.. this time I would love to give a little advantage to my favorites, the best students of the class." Her eyes landed on the seats in the middle of the class.
Everyone turned towards her indication only to find Jin and Jimin's clueless faces looking at Miss Sam.
"Kim Seokjin and Park Jimin, I am giving this advantage to the both of you, Choose a partner of your choice." She flashed a cute smile.
From my estimation, that appealing lady was in her middle 20s.
Not even wasting a second, both Jin and Jimin both desperately raised their hands, and took my name at the very same time,
"Y/N!" they both said simultaneously.
"Ma'am I choose Y/N" They said it together, again.
My eyes widened and the my jaw dropped to the floor, the moment I heard them. My face grew crimson as an immense embarrassment washed through me.
I didn't know if I was actually embarrassed with them or since the whole class was watching me.
The two boys shot death glares at each other and a thick silence fell over the whole class. On the other hand It felt like my heart would explode any second now.
I began to hear faint gossip arise in the classroom of the unqualified me being chosen by the two most handsome and the smartest guys of the Seol High School.
"Why would Jimin oppa pick that ugly girl?"
"I didn't expect such a bad taste from Jin at least."
"They surely have beauty but lack sensible brains."
"True that Ara."
All I felt was that a jolt of anger and rage sweep over me. But to some extent they were accurate, weren't they?
