A few months passed by and Adriana and Jacob moved into another apartment after Adriana had her vocal surgery. It was about double the size of the one that Jacob had before. Adriana slid the glass door of the shower to the right as she stepped out onto the cold, white, porcelain tiles. She stared at herself in the mirror and examined her features; long, black hair, beautiful, brown skin, dark, brown eyes, etc. Adriana looked down at the pregnancy test that was on the counter and then knocked it into the trashcan with a smile on her face.
She wrapped herself in a white towel, walked out of the bathroom and onto the, now, carpeted floor, and looked out of the large window that lined the edges of the wall to reveal a burgundy balcony. Their bed was plastered in the middle of the floor, covered in white sheets and black pillows, lying next to their baby's bed. Adriana went to the closet that was next door to the bathroom, opened the door, and went inside, closing it behind her. She scanned the rack of clothes and put on a graphic tee and a pair of jeans. Afterwards, she left and walked out of the bedroom into the long corridor that roped around to the living room where Jacob was standing; holding their baby tightly in his arms.
He kissed her cheek, walking to the window that was on the opposite wall. Adriana went up to him, wrapping her arms around him and pressed gently into his back. "You're finally awake." She then giggled and let go of him so she could turn him around and tell him the news. "Guess what?" she asked and Jacob replied with a "What?". Before she could tell him there was a ringing of the doorbell and Adriana left the living room to another hallway that was filled with family photos and wedding pictures, to the doorway of the front door. She glanced through the peephole and there were her parents, Anabeth, Justin (their boss now has a name lol), and Anabeth's boyfriend of 4 years. Quickly, Adriana opened the door and everyone yelled "Hello!!" as they entered. Everyone approached her, whispering: "Have you told him yet?". "No. Not yet." she replied and made her way back to the living room with everyone following.
"Awe" her mother squealed as she glanced at the wedding photos and then at Jacob as he held her granddaughter in his arms. Adriana stood in the middle of the living room with everyone behind her, looking giddy and energetic. "What?" Jacob asked again and Adriana giggled. "I'm pregnant again." she told and Jacob's emotions intensified. "Yes!!" he whisper yelled, afraid to wake the baby. He then left to go but her down in her crib and he made a mad dash back, taking his wife into his arms as he kissed her lovingly.
"Now's as good as any time to say this then." Anabeth's boyfriend stated. "Don't mean to steal your thunder sis." he added and Adriana giggled. He kneeled before Anabeth and she took a gigantic gasp, moving her now long, blonde hair back behind her ear. They both blurted words out but Anabeth's were unexpected. Her boyfriend asked her to marry him as he pulled out a ring but Anabeth blurted out that she was pregnant as well. Bruce and Catherine stood in shock along with Adriana. "Oh my God." Anabeth's boyfriend breathed as he stood and took her within his arms.
"Double baby shower!!" Justin slightly shouted before being shushed by Jacob in fear of the baby waking. Catherine nodded. "And another wedding to plan." she muttered below her breath. Jacob hugged Adriana from behind as he rubbed her belly, watching the now fiancees kiss and embrace one another. Catherine wiped a tear from her ear and Justin smiled brightly as his phone rang.
"Honey?" he asked, walking away. Jacob looked down at Adriana who was also confused. Justin came back and said a few apologies because he had to leave. "Wait." Jacob demanded and Justin stopped in his tracks. "Who's this honey person?" he asked and Justin's cheeks flushed a bit as he smiled. "Didn't I tell you about my boyfriend?" he said, bouncing away out the door. "WHAT!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!??!" everyone yelled, waking the baby as she cried out loudly. "That's another wedding!" Catherine shouted and everyone burst into a fit of laughter. Joy was shared and I guess we can say that this was a happy ending. :"D
