Chapter 13
~•~It was our first day of exam and I knew I did well. I was awake 'till midnight reviewing, slept for almost 3 hours, and get back to review. That was my usual routine every time I had an exam. As long as I have a chocolate beside me, everything will go well.
This morning my brother kept on apologizing to me. I kept on ignoring him. My parents knew we had a fight and they said it's inevitable among siblings, so they let us. Lilipas din naman.
As if.
Hindi gano'n kadali. Until this strange feeling stays within me, I'd avoid that promdi guy at all cost. Until I haven't found an answer why I acted that way, I'd forget his existence temporarily. I had to divert my full attention on exam. May benefit din naman pala ang pag-aaway namin.
I was all prepared to go to coffee shop to have a talk with Deviline-- I mean, Delvine. Geez, when Elisse called me.
"Bakla! Wait lang!"
I tilted my head. Nagmamadali na siya sa pag-aayos ng gamit niya. She's smiling over her ears, I can't help but envy her. The rays of sunlight passing through the window gave her an aura that made her more like an angel. She gives this kind of vibes that when she's around, everything seems so easy, makes the world brighter and better. No wonder, my brother likes her.
I looked away and sighed.
"Hindi ako makakasabay. May pupuntahan ako." I turned away, tightly grip into my sling bag as I started to walked away, not even waiting for her response.
Muli ako napatigil nang makita sa pinto sina Third at kuya na mukhang naghihintay. Imbes na pansinin sila ay dire-diretso akong naglakad. Third called me but I ignored him. I waited for my brother to mention my name, but I vanished to their sight while my chest... throbbing.
"I got through with Flynne's contacts to find your number," I looked up to her while still making a circle with straw in my Mocha Kissed Frappe. Throwing her a blank expression, I took a sip in it. "I'm sorry I left your handkerchief," she added, crinkling her eyes a bit.
"No, sa'yo na 'yun," I answered.
Though, we had a same hairstyle. Flynne's mother must be a fan of side bangs. Ayun ang wala ako.
From blue cinched waist top, white jeans with crystal pearl pendant necklace and earrings, to Gucci Emily navy blue shoulder bag, undeniably she's from the wealthy family.
I wonder if she really likes this girl or her fortunate life.
She nodded, smiling before she lowered her brown eyes to her Matcha Frappe, started to dip her straw up and down with a fake smile plastered on her pink thin lips.
I knew she was faking everything from the start but not in a bad way. I mean, I can sense that she has something important to tell me and I have to ready myself from breaking down in shock.
