MISTAKES

As they neared Rose asked Peter if he could drop her near the store as she needed to buy her journals and pens. Peter agreed but told that she should hurry as it was already getting late for both of them. Rose then said that she would go afterwards then as she would need a lot of time to decided on the perfect ones.

As Rose left Peter saw Andrew nearing his car. "Hey man! Sup?" he told. Nothing much just dropping Rose off. Now I better go or else I'll be late."Peter said and started to leave just when he got a mail from his university (St. Marie's). He read it in a rush and could understand only that he was placed in NYU because of a few urgent renovations in the university. The email said that he had been transferred to NYU with fees of three quarters paid excluding his dorm fees.
He was very happy and shocked at the same time.

At first he thought that he could be near Rose more and at the same time he thought that the girl he was avoiding his entire life was also in the university. He thought of it for a while and decided that he would give in and stay at the dorm apartments. He smiled to himself and reverted back to his university.
He then texted Rose
Peter : Guess what!!
Rose :In class ttyl
Peter : K! I got in NYU due to. some urgent renos in our uni.
Rose : Wow! Lucky you..!
Peter :yeah now concentrate on your class I'll see you in the cafeteria after your class. What's say?.
Rose :Cafeteria in 5. The professor just left, he got called by the principal.
Peter :K

"What? How? When? Dish!" Rose said as she sat down beside Peter.
Peter told her everything about the mail and all and of it .

"So you'll stay in a dorm then ?"Rose asked him as he sipped through his flask . he nodded and said that he wasn't sure which one then but he would choose soon .

"K , so I will go now I gotta go and fill my forms for the dorms " Rose said and stood up .

As she was leaving Peter asked her with concern in his voice , "How are you gonna pay ? I have heard that they are quite expensive . I guess you gotta figure that out . "

Rose sat down once again and said , "I figured it out . I cant stay in that house because it reminds me of them and so i decided that i would put the whole house for rent which will pay for the dorm and meal plans "

"That's nice . Well then .."Peter was cut mid-sentence as Andrew came and sat at the table and asked if he could talk to Rose for a while , in person . He said in person with a bit pressure making it clear that he did not want a third wheel in between them . Rose nodded towards Peter who understood the situation and left them alone .

As he went ahead Andrew asked her why she was with him and why did he drop her after all he was just a friend who helped her for a night .

"You know its none of your business and unlike you he doesn't make temporary one - night friends . You just mind your business and stop meddling in my life . I beg of you to leave me alone for once . " Rose said and stared to walk away .

Andrew held her hand by her wrist and said," It is my business! You are not getting it. After last night, all I've done is  was  thinking about you, about us.... ", he was cut as Rose said," Last night was nothing but mistake and I will make sure that it doesn't repeat."
