PART 1 OF 'THE GAME & THE PARTY' - The Tutor
"Joe I'm not gonna come is that clear?", I said while I chopped a few veggies for the dinner. Aeriel was sleeping or reading in her room and Bella was not home. She said that there will be tutor coming for Aeriel.
"But you've come to all the games till now. You are going to come alright.?!", Joe said to me.
"I know I have but I don't feel like going out of the house. I'm not paying Bella anything while I stay here and the least I can do is babysit Aeriel and help around in the house. I will think about it and tell you and also there's still a day for it. Basketball match is not tomorrow okay. And he's your boyfriend not mine. ", I said.
*door bell rings *
" There is someone at door ill think about it and tell you ", I said as I opened the door.
" UGH I hate you Rose ", Joe said." I LOVE YOU TOO ", I replied as I saw that Chris was on the door. I hung up with her and asked Chris to come in.
"What are you doing here?", Chris asked me.
I was shocked at him questioning me in my own aunts house. "Shouldn't I be asking you this. You are the one at my aunts house. What are you doing here?", I said as I went to the kitchen and he followed me in.
He sat on a barstool near the kitchen island and said, "I'm here to tutor a girl named Aeriel. I didn't realise that she was your cousin."
"Yeah whatever. I'm sending Aeriel and you can start teaching her. Use the living room or the study whatever you feel like. I would suggest the study.", I said and then I headed towards Aeriel's room.
"Aeriel your tutor is here. Come out and meet him.", I said to her and she looked up from the book and said, "Okay.Mom's not gonna be home until late tomorrow. Right ?"
I sighed and nodded and then she cmae back out with me.
MY phone started to ring. It was from Bella. "Hi Bella. Yeah the tutor arrived. No I don't need to keep an eye on him. Yes I know him. He's my classmate Yes. Okay. Okay. Bye.", I talked with her while Aeriel and Chris talked to each other.
Rose asked them if they needed anything both of them said that they didn't and then went to the study.
Rose finished cooking dinner and kept the leftover extra chopped ingredients in different air tight containers and then put the rice bowls aside. She sat on the couch and started surfing the web for any new deals for re selling a mac book.
That was part 1 out of idk how many.
The next few parts will tell what happened between Rose and Chris.
