What We Wanted...

CHAPTER 11

Alexiana's outfit.

"Holy shit." I mumble as I scan my surroundings. Staying true to my promise, I made it to the swim meet.

And now all I could do was stare at all the guys walking around shirtless.

I mean if this isn't heaven the I don't know.

"I think we found the promised land." Zoe giggles from beside me.

"Indeed we have, let's look for the guys." I suggest.

She nods, as we start looking for them, but that stops when someone bumps into my shoulder, making me drip my purse.

"What the fuck." I snarl, as I pick up my purse, turning around to fave the culprit. I freeze in my spot when I meet eyes with very familiar ones.

"Alexiana." He breathes out.

"Mekai." I say looking at him with wide eyes.

Mekai Alexander Martins, my ex boyfriend. We dated since freshmen year until the end of junior year. He was my first everything. First kiss, first time, first love.

He was the only person apart from Lyndon and my family who knew what happened back home. We broke up due to the distance, and because quite frankly I wasn't in love with him anymore.

It may be savage, but its true instead of being in a relationship where only one person is in love isn't healthy. And I needed to break off things because it was what's best for both of us.

"You look different." He states after scanning my appearance.

When we were together, I wasn't as confident back and wasn't as girly, but everything changed, when I lost everything. I grew a thicker skin and stopped being insecure about myself.

His dark hair was little bit longer. And his beautiful green eyes still mesmerizing as ever. And he was definitely taller than the last time I saw him, 6'2 and had clearly been working out.

"So do you." In say slowly.

He was the cliche jock of the school, we had always been close when we were younger and stayed close in highschool, soon we both realized we had feelings for each other so we started dating.

"Mekai what are you doing here." I ask, finally finding my voice.

"My family and I moved, and I thought I would get a tour of my new school." He says a smile forming on his lips.

"That's, amazing welcome to LA." I say pulling him into a small hug. When I turn around to introduce Zoe, I notice her speaking to Ty a few feet away.

"Thanks." He says. He's about to say something but I'm caught off guard, when someone whispers in my ear.

"Hey."

I turn around to face a shirtless, wet, Lyndon. I couldn't stop my eyes from raking over his gorgeous body, until I looked up into his beautiful grey orbs.

"Hey you, I've been looking for you." I say with a small smile making it's way to my face.

"Same, you wanna find a seat?" He asks.

Somebody clears there throat behind us and I turn around to face Mekai who looks confused and worried all at once.

Lyndon slowly snakes his arm around my waist and I look at him to see him looking at Mekai with questioning eyes.

"Lyndon this is my friend Mekai, Mekai this is Lyndon." I smile.

"Hey." Mekai greets softly. Lyndon mutters a small hey, and I elbow slightly when I catch him staring him down.
