Company History:
Moon, a music producer at SM Entertainment left his career in SM Entertainment to start his own career in the Kpop industry. He teamed up with his other friends who used to work at different entertainment companies and started their own entertainment. On February 16, 2010, they established GLXY Entertainment and rented an old building in Jamsil for their headquarters. He often used his attic in his old apartment in Jamsil as a small studio and produced music. The company have to loan for their business to take off and soon enough, they started holding auditions and scouted people but then many of them left due to the lack of facilities and they are left with big amounts of debt so the once 50 trainees, there were 12 left. The company had no choice but to debut one of their trainees to save the company from bankruptcy so in 2015, they debuted Jessica, a soloist in which she became one of the biggest soloists of that time and she even saved the company from bankruptcy and even helped the company have more trainees and even move to their new location at Songpa.
