-He has two older sisters who are three and six years older than her. Her eldest sister is Im Ji-Yeon, a famous Korean actress while the another is a fashion designer.

-His father is unemployed while his mother owns a small store.

-When he was young, his father would go home late, drunk and often beat him up with his sisters for no reason.

-His father would also beat his mother up often.

-He once tried to escape home by going down the emergency exit of their apartment but he was unsucessful because his mother caught him and begged him not to go.

-His father died when he was a trainee because his father was stabbed by an unkown person while going home drunk.

-He is a part of a school band during his middle school years. He plays the guitar.

-He got hit by a car when he is 10 because the car did not stop on a green light and continued to go and hit 3 pedestrians including young Jinwoo, who is going home after school and he ended up fracturing his leg and arm.

-He won several singing contests when he was young.

-He was a former JYP Entertainment trainee for 5 years and was originally set into the final lineup for Stray Kids.

-He trained alongside future ITZY, SKZ, GOT7, TWICE, and DAY6 members.

-He is close with all SKZ members.

-He was approached by a GLXY Agent while having eating at a convenience store with his friends after school and asked him if he wants to be an idol. He was so scared that he ran away from the agent and the agent chased him for a few hours until he was lost in sight and he didn't tell his mother when he went home.

-He auditioned because his sister encouraged him since he is a kid ulzzang and he didn't mind. After his sister's constant begging, he auditioned a year after the chase incident happened.

-He is fluent in Japanese and speaks the best Japanese among the members.

-He studied in an English academy and since his parents can't afford to send him at such prestigious school, he applied for a scholarship and passed.

-He like going to art galleries.

-Jaewon has opened a TikTok account with his name on it and sadly, it was deleted by him.

-He owns a pet hedgehog named Jiu.

-He likes aesthetic photographs.
