I followed him so that I can finally outline the plans for all what I want to happen. He is walking out from school towards the cafeteria. For sure, he is going to eat for lunch. Perfect, I also have to eat first.
"Why do you keep on following me? Are you interested in me now?" Zach asks while getting his tray and putting it on the horizontal steel lane.
Me? Of course, not. I am not into weird and scary guys.
"No way! Why would I be interested in you?"
"Really? But your eyes are saying yes," he reasons out.
How can he say that by just looking at the eyes? Idiotic punk!
"I was going to eat Zach. Why? Am I not allowed to eat now just because you're here? How could you say that?"
He lifts his bowl as the lady pours some soup in it. "Thank you," he says to her sluggishly while putting it down his tray. He moves and I follow him. All he eats are what I choose too.
He puffs. "Primitive to food, huh! Do you even eat without looking into others? Or take a bath neglecting what others do? I think you're so careful with the business of other people. You can't live by yourself, can you?" He smiles on the last lady who gave her a slice of cake whom I refused after him and goes to a table near us.
I sit with him and put down my tray. I signed the cross across my body and gathered a spoonful of rice. "You watch what you say. You're going overboard. I was even so polite whenever I talk to you."
"I don't care. It's you who first put me into this ridiculous plan. If it wasn't because of your threat, I would never help you. Besides, I am so busy and I ain't the kind of person who deals with others' businesses. I don't give a a fuck to whatever you all experience."
"Then why did you agree on this?"
He sighs a little. "Because I pity you?"
"It's because you're afraid of Adam." I opposed.
"I am not afraid. I am just careful."
"Careful, my foot. If you are careful, then you should take care of yourself. It's not like he can always hurt someone." I say.
"You don't know anything about me. If I lay hands on him, everything is over. That's why I am careful. You know nothing. So shut up!" He talks arrogantly.
I gazed at him badly after hearing him say that.
"Are you trying to be mad now?" He eats after asking.
"Of course, I should be mad at you. You're judging me. You know what, I am the kind of person who can really live my own life. It's just that I care so much about the people close to me. And very good people to me also deserve very good things from me. That's the principle of give and take."
He laughs a little. I haven't seen him laugh like that. It's the first time. I thought he was some kind of a jerk or a bully. Somehow, I see him as a nice person now. I just can't really trust him you know. We only met recently and our first encounter with each other is not really good.
"You really believe in that? I suppose you really do. You even want Adam down since he bullied you. It's not give and take. Yours is the other way around." He says and sips a little on the juice.
"You mean, take and give?" I raised my brows at him.
He nods. I crossed my arms. "Well maybe that's the case for me. Now, can you help me?"
