Setting my Sister's Dates

1

LAUREEN COOPER IS ALWAYS THE STAR. She dates a million times in a year. She is someone anybody would want to date. All she has is perfection. Her heart condition is an exception of course. She is beautiful, hot, smart, and humble. I wonder if someone would argue about this but it's basically a CLAIM OF FACT. Well, someone in the campus would surely give a whip of wave and say "That's true! I love Laureen!". And, I love my sister.

She just turned 18 today. We all are busy with her celebration. She is just as beautiful as a rose. she wears a blue cocktail dress. The foods are all delicious. The cake is 3 layered. The venue is surrounded with blue flowers. She looks just like a goddess of water.

We're just 1 year apart and I know things like this is a hassle for my Dad. I mean, we grow almost like in the same boat; we will celebrate our debut consecutively and graduate high school consecutively and college, still, consecutively. That's another claim of fact and that costs huge amount of money. The only thing that would probably be out of the boat is marriage. I'm just not into love stories while she has all the choices of whom she will be marrying.

"Margarette, will you please tell this new fat guy to stop his plans for me? I was just enjoying my very special day when he sent this message to me," she points her phone facing my face. I give her a look and she rolls her eyes on me. "I don't really want to hurt him but he is not my type. Besides, I already have Mike."

"First of all, stop calling me by my second name when we're in public," I say with my clenched teeth. I really hate it when someone calls me by my second name. It sounds really for 90s.

"Okay, Margarette," she whispers in response. I growl a little. I acquired a little from my Dad's grumpiness. However, I'm damn soft-hearted.

She abruptly changes her mood and goes towards her new boyfriend, Mike whom she only met an hour ago. Mike is tall and dark. He is also rich and fancy. He has been stalking my sister without Laureen knowing about it. That was very funny especially that I witnessed his foolish acts everyday. Now, they finally met each other and look what has resulted. They are together now. Still, I could laugh whenever I remember his serious, ill-favored face.

Hmph! She really is Laureen Cooper, no wonder why many girls envy her. She's just ideal and worth their jealousy. But as for me, I would never get jealous. Never. Wait, wouldn't I?

Anyhow, as the ordinary girl in the house, I'm still proud of myself. I never have had worse conflicts among all my friends. I WISH I WOUND NEVER HAVE ONE FOR MY ENTIRE LIFE. Although I am someone who does not want anyone to just underestimate me, I still haven't got any fight with someone except the normal arguments with Charles and my family.

I hope school welcomes me just right after summer ends. After all, it's my last year of being a high school student.

I would really describe myself as 'ordinary' because I am just ordinary. That's another claim of fact. I wear not weird clothes but just, yes, ordinary. I only go out when someone asks. I only go to parties when I have my best friend with me and that's Charles. We go to ASTRO concerts, watch movies together, and do whatever we want. He promised me not to leave me even if he got himself a girlfriend. She dates a lot but he still keeps hanging out with me. That makes Charles a great friend of mine.
