If I can't be free?
How do I live
With all these shackles around me?
With all these expectations
How do I become
Who I am meant to be?
How do I smile
When everybody tells me
Who I am supposed to be?
How can I breathe
When I can't make my own choices?
How do I dream
When I can't even face my own obstacles?
How can I see
When all my life was planned for me?
How can I be my own person
When all my battles were fought for me?
How can I have hope
When all my life I was locked away in a tower?
How can I be strong
When in the face of danger I cower?
How can I flourish?
How can I grow?
How can I be
