Mr. Cage looked back and forth from Jamie to me. Jamie was shirtless, I was wearing lounge clothes. He definitely could tell what was going on. "Dylan, this isn't what it looks like." Jamie said to him.

Mr. Cage looked at me and said, "Yeah, yeah it is." He looked back at Jamie, "Can I come in?"

"Yeah." He sighed, opening the door more for him to step inside.

Mr. Cage walked in and Jamie walked behind the couch and grabbed his shirt and threw it on. Mr. Cage sat down on the opposite end of the couch, and I grabbed a throw pillow to kind of cover myself with. Jamie sat down beside me.

Mr. Cage said, "Calista, how are you feeling? Mr. Taylor said you left suddenly."

"I'm okay." I nodded.

"Alright, guys. Be straight with me. How long has this been going on?" He asked us.

"Since I got fired." Jamie said.

"Why?"

I said, "We love each other."

Mr. Cage shook his head and said, "Everyone knows you two have a special relationship, but this? Actually together? I'm not that surprised, I just, it's more shocking actually seeing you too be physical together."

I glanced at the window, realizing Mr. Cage could see us making out from the front porch. I blushed and hugged the pillow even tighter.

Jamie looked at the window and back at him, "Were you watching us?"  He asked Mr. Cage.

"I wasn't watching. I came to the door and saw you, and it's an image I'm never going to get out of my head." He shook his head.

"What all did you see?" I asked him.

"Everything that you wouldn't want anyone else to see, I saw." He answered.

I buried my face in the pillow again. "Oh my god!"

Jamie rubbed my back in comfort as he sighed and asked, "Are you going to tell Matt?"

"I don't want to get you in trouble, so I won't tell anyone." He said to us. "Please just tell me that you were eighteen, Calista."

"What?" I asked, picking my head up.

"Yes, of course she was." Jamie said to him.

"Thank god." Mr. Cage said.

"Why are you here?" Jamie asked him.

"Matt was concerned that you didn't come back to school after taking Calista home. He was going to come check on you, but I offered to come." He said.

"Well, I'm fine." He smirked.

"Why didn't you come back? We were waiting for you."

"I wanted to take Calista out and try to help her feel a little better." He answered.

"Is everything okay?" He asked me.

"I go in first thing tomorrow to find out my biopsy results." I said to him. "I was scared because she originally told me that she would call me, but she called me today and wanted to meet with me as soon as possible to discuss them." I explained to him.
