Chapter 11-Ocean’s POV:
The next morning I get up early and have a shower. The warm water feels good and relaxing on my tense muscles, when I get out I wasn’t tense like before. I needed that. I get dressed and dry my hair. I straighten it today, to me it looked longer when I did, my brown hair only went four inches passed my collar bone, I don’t know why, but the day that I remember I’ll know.
I get dressed in a pair of ripped dark blue shorts with a grey T-shirt and black converse. After I applied make up I grab my bag and hop downstairs. I'm glad that I had someone at school to talk to now and I wouldn’t have to be alone.
When I got to school Niall was just getting out of his car. He spots me right away and smiles, “Hey Ocean.” He satys once we get to a close enough talking range, “Hi.” I say politely, “So what happened with you and Edward last night after you left?”
“He just drove me home, nothing really.”
“Wow, he told us he thought you were going to blow up in his face.”
“He said that?” I ask, “ Yeah.”
“Well, I was. But I decided against it.” He smiles larger, laughing slightly, “Good for you.” He says, trying to seem proud almost.
The morning was usual, and it went on casually. I felt better today for reasons I wasn’t aware of; I felt happy, I wasn’t worried about anything and I felt calm today. Most days I would run over my thoughts and be stressed or worried. I would over think things that didn’t need to be made a big deal of. But today I felt like I had everything resolved, I knew I didn’t, but I just told myself I did.
At lunch Niall and I met up and started talking. I started to make my way to my usual table when Niall tugged on my arm. I steady myself, balancing my lunch tray so nothing would fall over from the pull, I give him a look.
“You are not sitting over there again.” He states, grimacing at my usual table. He starts to pull me towards the table of his friends, they were laughing and talking and I felt very uncomfortable, “I don’t think so.” I say, shaking my head to him, “I don’t know your friends and it would be rude for me to just intrude.”
“You’ll get along with them great.” He say with certainty and pulsls me to their table.
“Guys this is Ocean.” He says, they look at me and some smie, “Hi.” A beautiful brunette says cheerfully, she had long curly brown hair, she was small and thin with cold eyes that looked right through you. She was familiar, like Edward. They all were but I didn’t mention it.
“I’m Eleanor.” She introduces once realizing that no else would greet me, “Hi.” I say in return, “You’ve probably met them already but just in case you didn’t this is my boyfriend Louis, and thats Liam, Danielle, Ed, Perrie and her boyfriend Zayn.” I did see them before when they saved me from the attacks, but the girls weren’t there and this was the first time meeting them. I feel like there was someone missing, actually two things. I wonder to myself if Josh was their friend too like he was with Niall. I shrug it off after a moment and repeat to myself this is the first time I’ve met them.
“So Ocean how’s everything going? Nice to be back?” Eleanor asks, finishing the awkward silence, “Everything is going great," I reply simply, "I thought it was going to be harder.” I add, “I heard about the accident."
“Everybody has." A boy says from across the table, "Rumors were going around since the first day she stepped into the school. Heard a stupid one about you jumping out of a window.” The boy named Liam said. The boy next to me, Zayn, shifts uncomfortably in his seat, “Liam.” Niall warned shaking his head subtly, “It’s okay.” I reassure, “People are just curious.”
