~Melonies POV~
I wake up to my alarm, damn it I hate mornings but who doesn’t, it’s Wednesday my day off and I have to meet with Zayn in 5 hours I decode to fill in the time by reading The Maze Runner I have already read it once but I am reading it a second time because I haven’t gotten around to buying the second book yet, I should do that after I meet Zayn at the café. Sooner than I was aware it was already 9:00AM so I quickly had a shower and got dressed into a long-sleeved shirt, boot leg jeans and a big coat being the middle of December it was freezing cold. I couldn’t be bothered putting on a lot of makeup so I just put on some concealer and mascara, then I put on my boots, grabbed my satchel and left for the café. When I arrived at the café I found a table in the back corner and waited for Zayn while continuing to read The Maze Runner, about two minutes later I hear someone clear their throat I look up from my book and there is Zayn wearing a button-down shirt and holding a single white rose and he starts talking
“For you.”
“Thank you this is lovely”
“It’s my pleasure how are you?”
“Alright I’m kind of tired I shouldn’t have stayed up late last night”
“Well some coffee should help with that what would you like?”
“Just a tall latte thanks”
Zayn went to go get the drinks and about five minutes later he came back with the drinks. We talked for about an hour, I picked up another coffee and we left to go back to my apartment where we just talk some more and before we knew it, it was 9:30 at night.
“I should probably get back to the hotel.”
“Okay today was great we should do it again sometime.”
“Yeah, I just remembered I don’t even have your number”
We swapped phone numbers and said one last goodbye and then Zayn left when I closed the door to my apartment I let out a sigh and flopped into bed and fell asleep.
