Final chapter : elevator

Tired .
That was my condition .
I just wanted to have a full night of sleep .
Sm just had to overwork me like that , from a tour to a comeback to another one and now another tour .
Just great !
I'm not mad or anything , i love spending time with the dreamies and all.
But a break wouldn't hurt anyone .

But it had to happen and now i'm running as fast as i can to the Sm entertainment building with Jeno behind me .
Who the fuck films a vlive on a tiring day just after clearing a very tight schedule ,none of us was thinking straight and we just wanted to sleep .
However Jeno just had to accidentally kiss me in front of the whole fandom .
I know it was an accident and i'm not mad at him but Mark is gonna beat him up as soon as he finds out .
It wouldn't have been a problem if it was another member but that's jeno we're talking about .
We've done more than just kisses back then .
So i will totally understand Marks anger.

-Hyuck wait for me .
Shouted Jeno who stopped running probably because he was out of breath .

-Do you think that it's time for you to rest !
You caused this , you fix if !

Mark is going to kill us .

-You know that it was an accident right ? Even Jaemin is not mad .
He confessed .

-Why would Jaemin be mad when he was right next to us !
I snapped .

-Heachan i'm sorry , i really didn't mean to . I was just teasing you i really didn't expect such a twist .
He apologized .

-I'm not mad at you , so don't worry keep your apology for Mark , and can't you guys just make up? You guys were bestfriends !
I declared .

-It's my fault .
He whispered .

We kept running until we finally arrived at the building, it was quiet since all the employees probably left , however SuperM were still practicing because their debut is nearing .

We quickly headed towards the elevator and pressed the button of the 7th floor .
We were silently waiting for the elevator to stop , Jeno was nervous i can feel it .
He was still panting from all the running however his shaky hands exposed his nervousness .

-Jeno don't worry i'm sure that he will understand , Mark is smart enough.
I reassured .

-It's not just about today ,i have done something horrible to Mark back then .
He confessed .

-What do you mean ?
I asked and got out after the elevator's doors opened .

-I dated you while being fully aware of Mark's feelings for you .
Mark came to me first when he realized his feelings for you since i was his closest friend .
I also had feelings for you back then but i haven't brought myself to tell him about it ,because i thought that it would ruin our friendship if I did.
But then you confessed to me and i was too in love to think about Mark.
So when we told them about our relationship , i started ignoring him because i was too ashamed of what i did until that one day when Jaemin came back .
Things got mixed up in my heart and i FaceTimed Doyoung hyung for an advice however it happened that Mark was passing by and heard everything .
He got really mad and if the guys weren't there he could have punched me .
He admitted .
I was surprised , shocked and speechless .
I figured out that i was the reason for their big fight , but i never thought it was this serious.
Mark was protecting me , i can't believe i defended Jeno when Mark was acting like that for my sake .
I can't believe that Mark and i's summer fight happened because Mark was trying to protect me and i was too stubborn to listen to him .
Too many thoughts and memories made their way in my mind , i can still here all the shouting Mark and I did every night when we were still roommates .
All the blaming Mark took back then , all the crying i cried because i thought that my bestfriend wasn't happy for me .
It all made sense, how Mark's attitude changed as soon as i announced that Jeno and I were dating .
And how the tension between the two got worse when we promoted "We go up" .
My mind was too busy analyzing flashbacks that i haven't realized that i tripped until i felt unfamiliar arms holding my shoulder to prevent me from falling .
I raised my head to thank my savior but i was too shocked and embarrassed to say a word .
