This was requested by sanjyuuichi_ (It won't let me tag you and I'm sad...)   Summary of the request so I don't spoil, is that Sakata finds his boyfriend, Urata magically turned into a child when he wakes up. I hope you like it, and that I did your request justice!

~~~~~~~~~~~
Typically, Sakata awoke when his boyfriend did; right as the alarm went off he set the night before for whatever time he told his fans in preparation for his daily 'good morning' messages. Yet today was different. He slept in an hour later than usual, no abrupt alarm, no 'good morning!' from his beloved, only silence. As the sleepiness began to wear off, Sakata yawned loudly, stretching his arms out in hopes of pulling his boyfriend closer to him for some quick cuddles.
As he did so, what his hands met were not the back of Urata, but what felt like the frame of...a small child?
Panicking, Sakata sat straight up, darting his head to the side to take in the scene beside him. Instead of what he was used to seeing; a grown, adult male, he saw a child, perhaps around the age of 6 or 7 curled up around one of the many Yamadanuki dolls he refused to part with despite having a portable cuddling partner available to him at any time of day.
Seeing this scene panicked the poor redhead even more, he just couldn't comprehend. Had his love had a child behind his back years ago? And then left them with him, to run away with the woman he had the child with, or something along those lines?
What shook him out of this state momentarily, was the cutest yawn he thought he had ever heard, followed by the child sitting up and rubbing at his eyes. "..." Once his eyes had adjusted, he stared into Sakata's eyes, emerald meeting ruby and spoke words that told him exactly who this kid was. "...You look...like an idiot like that."
It was Urata, in a child's body. Somehow, he had aged backwards.
No wait! That was besides the point here! The kid called him an idiot!
"I am not an idiot!" Puffing his cheeks up with air in irritation, Sakata crossed his arms over his chest. Even as a child, Urata bullied him...there just was no escape.
Staring blankly towards the upset adult, Urata crawled over on the bed and reached his tiny arm out, attempting to reach his head to pat it comfortingly. It felt like a necessary thing to do, yet he was just too short...and that frustrated him. So instead, he settled on awkwardly patting Sakata's arm with his palm before a rather loud rumbling noise erupted from his stomach, causing him to grasp onto the sleeve of the redhead's shirt. "Hungry. Idiot feed me." Rather demanding little thing, though it surprised Sakata greatly how clingy he was so far.
"I have a name you know. Sakata. Sa-ka-ta." The so-called 'adult' pointed his finger towards the child and refused to move from his seat until his name was burned into the younger's mind.
"Sa-ka-ta..." Urata repeated, nodding to himself and...was that a smile that followed after? It seems he liked the name.
"Good job~" Sakata praised the brunet boy, ruffling his hair, gushing at how Urata seemed to try to follow his hand as he pulled away; as if he wanted him to continue. "You're just so cute!" Ah! He was getting distracted! "Right, food, let's go to the kitchen. But first, let me see if I have anything that would fit you to wear..." Currently, Urata was falling out of his now oversized shirt and his pants he didn't fit were long gone and lost amongst the sheets.
Rummaging through his dresser they both shared, he couldn't find much of anything that would fit, but settled on an older shirt of Urata's he had bought that was a size too small that he hadn't wanted to get rid of because of the design on it. It stretched all the way down to his ankles, and that would have to do...who needed pants?
"I'm going to change too! If you could..turn around for a moment Ura, and no peeking~" Sakata warned in a teasing manner while grabbing some clothes for himself to wear for the day and tossing them on.
Of course, having a child's curiosity, Urata found himself turning slightly and taking a peek anyway...yet immediately flushed and turned right back to where he was. His brain couldn't comprehend exactly what he saw, but something inside of him knew that the bite marks and bruises trailing along Sakata's neck and back were not something a child's eyes should be seeing. Unbeknownst to himself, they were marks that the adult him had left the night prior.
"Okay! All set, let's go Ura!" Sakata hummed, straightening the collar of his shirt as he walked over, tilting his head in confusion at the child's flustered complexion. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, let's go!" Taking Sakata by the hand, tiny Urata pulled them out of the room and into the hallway, freezing in place once there. "Please lead the way now." He commanded, not exactly knowing where to go from there, and not wanting to get lost in a new place.
Finding this absolutely adorable, Sakata giggled, squeezing the tiny hand and pulled them along down the hall to his kitchen.
Once there, he let go, and pulled out a chair for Urata and went right on into finding something to make. Typically, Urata was the one who made their meals, or they ordered out/found food on their way to work. Having this suddenly sprung on him was certainly going to be a challenge, yet it was not something he wasn't going to at least try his best with! Nodding to himself, Sakata slid with his socks across the floor to the fridge, pulling out a carton of eggs and got to work on what he had hoped would be something edible and not something that would end up in the trash.
While doing so, Urata hoisted himself into his chair and settled his gaze on the frantic adult who let out panicked screams here and there, even a nervous, 'is this okay?' as the end of his fight to make food grew near. It was odd to him that despite how little he knew of this 'Sakata' person...they only seemed to treat him well. And he fully trusted him; perhaps that was just the childish nature of becoming attached very quickly settling in.
Urata didn't know what this place was, or even who he was, but he was a child, so who really cared? What he did know was that this 'Sakata' was his now. Or so he claimed. Nodding proudly to himself, distracted, he was startled when the redhead set down a plate of slightly burnt eggs in front of him.
"I'm sorry~ They're not the best...But I tried!" He chuckled nervously with a smile on his face.
Looking from the food, to Sakata, Urata grabbed his fork with his tiny hands and held it out to the adult. "Feed me." He commanded. It was decided he would take advantage of Sakata's kindness while he could. Children were such conniving creatures.
"Eh? Sure!" Sakata was a little confused at the request, but still followed through, taking the utensil from the small brunet's hand and scooped up a bit of food then held it out in front of the others mouth, deciding to tease a little bit more. "Say ah~"
"What? No, that's weird- Give that bac-" Urata sputtered, reaching out but was denied this as Sakata pulled his hand away.
"You requested it, I'm just following through~ You want this food, you have to meet me halfway. Seems only fair." Sakata tsked playfully and smirked, having fun tormenting this child version of his love. How he hoped he would turn back eventually, but he did enjoy this as well. It was a whole new experience!
Clicking his tongue, Urata folding his arms over his chest, huffed and gave in, leaning forward and opening his mouth wide. "Ah." No enthusiasm whatsoever.
"Good enough for me." Sakata nodded happily and began to feed the child in front of him until both Urata's and his own plate were empty.
This ordeal lasted roughly 10 minutes, for once Urata got used to the idea and the embarrassment wore off, he demanded Sakata feed him each bite of food, refusing to feed himself.
After all was said and done in the kitchen, and Sakata finally moved the both of them to his living room, he flopped down on the couch and stared at the child questioningly. "What should we do now? We did technically have plans with the others, but I'm not sure how that would go now...Ah! I forgot to warn them not to come over! I hope it isn't too late." Sakata frantically moved to pull out his phone, all the while Urata watched him with wonder and amazement at how many emotions he had shown in less than a few minutes.
And as if to comfort him once more, Urata reached up to pat Sakata on the head, having an easier time reaching now that they were roughly the same height since Sakata was sitting down.
"Are you, trying to comfort me?" Sakata stared at the child in amazement himself, only to suddenly reach out and pull him into an embrace. "Wahh, I love you!"
Sighing loudly, rather than trying to force the other off him, Urata just let Sakata do as he pleased, even leaning into the hug. It felt warm...and comforting. It felt like home. Oddly enough, the irritation was slowly fading away, affection rolling in to replace it.
"Hey Sakatan!~ Did you miss us!" Suddenly, a rather loud voice boomed as 2 figures appeared without much notice from the front door. A purple haired man bearing a giant grin and a taller blond behind him bowing behind him in apology.
"I'm sorry for the intrusion. He wouldn't let me call first." Senra sighed defeated.
""Why should we call? We're not strangers-Sakata, when did you get a child? Did Uratan knock you up?" Shima gasped in shock, his palms slapping the sides of his face dramatically.
Not knowing who either of these strange adults were, Urata stood in front of Sakata, outstretched his arms and refused to let either pass him. To add to everything, he shot a glare at Shima.
"He really is Uratan's son! Sakatan how could you!? Not telling us!" Shima dramatically sobbed, Senra rolling his eyes beside him.
"He's too old to be their son...not only that, Sakata is a guy. Maashi, what weird manga have you been reading?" The younger of the duo chuckled, questioning his partner's sanity.
"Rather than my son..." Sakata stood up from the couch, approached the brunet child from behind, lifting him into his arms. "This is Urata actually."
Blink.
Blink.
"You mean-the shorty, turned into a shorty?" Shima stepped closer, looking into Urata's eyes, whining to Senra as the boy immediately recoiled towards the redhead's warmth; wrapping his arms around his neck without a word.
"I think he doesn't like you Maashi~" Senra stared in awe at the scene before him, honestly not surprised. If such a situation was going to happen, this was sort of how he expected it would be...only how did it happen? "Any idea how he got like this?" Senra turned his gaze to Sakata, who shook his head in turn.
"I woke up to this...so I'm not entirely sure..." Frowning, Sakata turned his head to the side to meet eyes with Urata, who was conveniently looking right at him. "I just hope this doesn't last long. As much as I do like this, I miss him..."
Noticing the drop in the redhead's mood, Urata took it upon himself to 'attempt' to make things better...by reaching out, grasping Sakata's cheek with his smaller hand and pinching it. "Chubby cheeks! The more you frown, the more your cheeks sag, so stop that."
Sakata broke out into a fit of laughter at this, grinning widely at the child in his arms. "You're right! I won't be sad anymore~ Just for you~"
Senra rolled his eyes, while Shima pretended to vomit at such a cheesy display. "And they say we're the cheesy ones!"
Sakata faked a gasp and pointed towards the door dramatically with his head. "Don't come near me or my son ever again."
"I can't stand either of you." Senra sighed, flicking Shima on the side of the head, who once more whined in protest, before he walked over towards Sakata's gaming systems. "Since we're already here...let's play games~"
~~~~

"Wow~ He's really clinging to you Sakatan. If only he was like this norma-wait don't let me finish that...I don't even want to imagine that!" Shima cringed at his own thoughts before getting hushed by Senra.

They ended up gaming for the whole rest of the day, and into the evening...time really flew by fast when you were with friends as they say! But by the time they were finished, Urata had passed out on Sakata's chest where the youngest adult was propped up on the armrest of the couch, and his tiny hands were tightly gripping his shirt as if he refused to be removed.

"He's really more honest about his feelings like this." Senra gushed at their leaders actions.

"Stop staring and help me!" Sakata whined, getting slapped on the head by both of his friends for being too loud.

"Don't wake him, lower your voice. You're stuck here now until he wakes up again...might as well just give in and sleep here tonight, you know how he sleeps through almost anything." Shima nodded pitifully while recalling this.

While silently praying for his friend, Senra rushed off to Sakata's room to fetch a blanket and pillow from his room. Once he returned, he helped him get more comfortable without moving too much. "Hopefully he magically returns to normal tomorrow Sakata." He fondly smiled to the youngest, who let out a yawn and nodded.

"Thank you guys~"

"Good night Sakatan!" Both gave their farewell before exiting the house, leaving the two alone.

Running a hand through Urata's hair, Sakata smiled fondly at the child laying on his chest. "You're really cute when you sleep Ura~" As if by instinct, the other nuzzled the hand petting him.

"Thank you for sharing this side of yourself with me...but please return to me tomorrow." Gently placing a kiss to Urata's head, Sakata sent his own prayer out, bringing the child closer to him and letting sleep wash over him.

~~~~
The next morning, Urata awoke to memories flooding his brain all at once. Embarrassing memories. Ones that felt so real, and like a dream. But was it?
Taking a look around, he noticed that he was not currently in his and Sakata's bedroom and was instead in the living room...on the couch...and he was laying on top of Sakata...Instantly, his face flushed red and he sprung up, falling backwards and onto the floor in the process. "Ow!"
"Who, what! Oh, Ura! Good morni-You're back to normal!" Sakata beamed, leaping off the couch to the floor and pulling the other into an embrace.
So it really wasn't a dream! The things he'd done! Despite being a child, they were embarrassing! Couldn't he have been a little bit more, what was the word the others called him...tsundere? Instead he acted all clingy and cuddly towards his boyfriend.
"Ah, Ura, your face is all red. Are you sick?" Sakata gasped once he noticed, resting a palm against the brunet's forehead and one against his own as if he were trying to compare body temperatures.
"Stop that- don't touch me right now. You're making it worse." Urata turned his face away as the color on his face only increased in intensity.
"Could it be...that you remember!" Sakata grinned mischievously and pinched one of Urata's cheeks. "The more you frown, the more your cheeks sag Ura~" He teased, using the words the brunet had used on him yesterday.
"Stop it! Want to see what it's like to live on the streets?" Urata threatened, though both knew his threats were harmless while his face was as red as Sakata's own hair.
"You would never~ But I'm done teasing...for now." Sakata giggled, planting a kiss on Urata's cheek before landing the final blow. "Thank you for coming home to me~"
With that, steam started to pour out of Urata's ears as he grumbled various things under his breath about how he both loved and disliked Sakata while escaping the room of 'torture'
They never did find out how exactly this situation happened, neither did they question it further afterwards. It wasn't important to them. Though it certainly was an experience, that was certain.
I wrote this rest after streams this morning because I really wanted to finish. Mostly because of how cute the idea is/was! I survive off cute fluff!!
