Chapter 13

"Good morning.", I yawned.

"Good morning." Waking up to Brendan's blue eyes everyone morning wasn't so bad. I was starting to like him a lot, even his way he expresses his sexual ness.

"Merry Christmas.", I smirked.

I quickly jumped out of bed and got myself dressed and together. I brushed my teeth, brushed my hair etc. I had to drag Brendan out of bed as well. I finished up packing because after tonight we would be heading back to New York.

"Goodmorning."

"Hey Rebecca, you missed the party last night."

"Yeah I know, I heard aunt ginger and uncle Steven popped by. I was stuck at dinner with Jake and his parents.", she groaned.

"Didn't you have a good time though?".

"Yeah of course I did, but I really wished I got to see our family. You know Aunt Ginger and Uncle Steven don't come by very often. They only fly down to America like twice a year."

That was true. Christmas and thanksgiving was the only time we actually saw them. But unfortunately they made 4. My graduation, the funeral, thanksgiving, and Christmas.

"Where's Jake now?", Brendan said.

"He's in the room."

"I'm going to go head downstairs and make some coffee. Would you like some?", I asked Brendan.

"Yes I would thank you."

I headed for the staircase. "You like my sister.", Rebecca said.

"What, how many times do I have to tell people we are just friends.".

"Yeah my ass! I see the way you look at her. She makes you feel very good. She makes you smile and laugh doesn't she."

"Yes she does all those things but we are nothing more but friends.", Brendan snapped.

"Don't worry Brendan, it's going to come out of you, one way or the other."

"Okay is everyone ready to open their gifts.", my mother cheered.

My mom handed me a wrapped medium sized box. "Oh jeez, I wonder what it is.", I sighed.

My father gave me the look that said shut up and open the damn thing already. I tore the paper off the box. It was pretty heavy. "A pink kerburig coffee maker.", my eyes and face lit up."

"Oh my god I was trying to buy one of these but they were sold out! How the hell did you find this!?",
I squealed.

"Those are custom.", Brendan said.

"Trust us honey it wasn't easy finding that."

"You're mother had to fight a lady in the mall for it! It was hilarious, she was cursing in French." My dad laughed.

"Thanks for the Mac makeup kit mom.", Sarah said smiling like a mad child.

My brother and sister got the new iPhone 6 for Christmas. Spoiled brats.
"You're wearing you're necklace.", Brendan smiled. I looked down at his wrist.

"You're wearing your watch."

"Oh my god Ava you got me the Starbucks coffee pack !!!", Rebecca was obsessed with Starbucks. She would only drink coffee from Starbucks. Once in a blue moon it's not Starbucks coffee.

Everyone loved their gifts. "What time are you heading out pumpkin?", my father asked.

"Right after dinner Papi."
