It was now August. It was time to make preparations for the wedding. Brendan and I would be wed on October 1st. I was so excited.

"Do you know where you want the wedding to be?", Abby said taking notes.

Brendan walked into the living room.

"I'm getting married in two months I don't have time to be dealing with angry clients. You should be doing your damn job." Brendan hung up the phone.

"Hi Abby, hello baby." Brendan kissed me.

"Is everything okay ?".

"Yea, it's just one of the guys that work for me fucked up someone's photo shoot and now he wants my help but I have other things to do. I told him to fix what ever he did."

"Ooh I see.", I chuckled.

"Anywayssss.", Abby rolled her eyes.

"Oh yeah back to what we were doing; Babe what do you say. Church or no church."

"Church.", he said.

"Church it is."

"Okay. That's great. I'll give you a call later with that." Abby said grabbing her purse.

"Thanks for stopping by Abby. I really appreciate it."

"Anything for you Ava. I'll see you guys later."

"Making plans without me I see.", Brendan grabbed a snapple out the fridge.

"I was thinking babe. How many kids do you want?".

"How many can you pop out.", he smirked.

I glared at him. "I hope that was a joke."

"It was I swear. But babe lets not worry about kids right now. We're getting married in two months. I can't wait." Brendan picked me up and spun me around. His lips perfectly landing on mine.

"Me either."

*************

"Hellen so nice to see you again.", I kissed my soon to be mother in law on the cheek.

"You look dazzling sweetheart."

I looked down at my coral colored sun dress. I had on brown wedges, and my hair pulled up in a pony tail.

"Thank you. The sun is killing me you know." I fanned myself with my two hands.

"Never mind that. We need to discuss your bachelorette party."

"Oh Brendan and I discussed that, we didn't want one. Well I don't want one he doesn't want one.", I said fanning myself some more."

The waiter came by and placed our ice teas on the table. We were having lunch outside on this hot but beautiful day.

"I see. Well it's all up to you. Next month we shall be heading to Paris.", she squealed and clapped her hands.

"Ahh, Hellen about that. My mother."

I cleared my throat and continued. "She wants to come to. Is that alright. My mother was born in France you see. Her accent is long gone because she left there as a child but she really wants to come and help out."

I really hope Hellen doesn't have a problem with my mother tagging along.

"Of course she can tag along. This will be wonderful. I can finally meet your mother." Hellen had a huge smile on her face.

She was such a cheerful woman. She was smart and funny. She knew so much about so many countries. She told me how her and John met. Hellen was on her way to Egypt and she so happened to be working with John while studying over there. She said they clicked instantly. It was like love at first site. She was 19 back when they fell in love.

She was 22 when they got married. "I can't wait for you too meet her.", I smiled. I shoved a tomato into my mouth.

"Did you and Brendan pick what the colors will be?", she asked.

Colors? How the hell could I forget about the colors. Blue...no. Hmm, lavender... No. What about? Peach?.. Peach !

"No we didn't but I have a color in mind though." I played the tomato rolling around on my plate.

"Okay okay, tell me.", Hellen gave me direct eye contact and batted her eyes.

"Peach."

"Peach? Darling peach ?"

"Yes, I think it's a very lovely color." I munched on a cucumber.

"Hmm.. Peach. I think that's a beautiful color. I like it.", Hellen smiled at me.
***********

After lunch with Brendan's mom I headed over to his office to drop off his food. "Hello my name is Ava, I'm here to see Mr. Taylor. The woman at the desk glared at me while holding the phone up to her ear. She was smacking on her gum annoyingly.

The woman rolled her eyes. "Brittany, I'll talk to you later okay, some woman wants to see Mr. Taylor." Even the sound of her voice was annoying.

"Yeah I know. I heard he's getting married to some bimbo from dazzling magazine.", the woman laughed annoyingly into the phone and hung up.

"Like I was saying. My name is Ava. I'm Mr. Taylor's fiancé. Now would you be so kind as to tell me where his office is." I batted my eyes and smiled, keeping my cool.

"Third floor. Third door on the right." Ughh why did she drag her words like that.

"Thank you." I have never been to Brendan's work building before. I've only seen it from the outside. Tall beautiful building, so many glass windows. The inside was like a lobby, there was even a bar.

The elevator doors opened. "Third door to the right." The door was huge and had Brendan Taylor imprinted on the Mahogany colored door. I opened it and peeked inside. Holy shit this place was huge!

The decor was beautiful. Sofas, a fireplace, even a bar. I took a seat on one of the navy blue sofas. I wonder where he is. I clenched the brown bag in my hand tightly.

"Ava?" I quickly shot up and looked behind me. "Hey babe.", I smiled and held up the bag.

I walked over to Brendan and gave him a huge hug and kiss. "I brought you lunch."

"I can see that. Did you have any trouble getting up here?".

"No but that lady at the desk. You need to fire her, she's so rude. I wanted to hit her upside the head.", I laughed.

"You're talking about Lacy. Well yeah she's a stubborn one. I gave her the job because she really needed it. Her parents kicked her and she had no money so I offered her a job. She actually was qualified for it.

"Aww how sweet are you." I took Brendan's Garlic chicken out of the bag.

"So I was thinking, for the colors of the wedding, how about peach?" I said dragging my last word.

"I love it! I think it's a perfect color for the wedding.", he shoved the food into his mouth.

"You must of been hungry. But really, you agree to things way to fast."

"Ava, I want this to be what you want. And besides I actually like that color. This is your dream wedding that your creating. Sure there might be some things I want to but I'm not going to argue over a color."

"No one said anything about arguing over it babe, I was just saying."

"And I'm just saying. I love the color you chose.", Brendan smirked at me from his desk.

"Okay then. Peach it is, but what are you going to do about your best man." I plotted my butt on a seat right next to him.

"Easy, I already decided who it is." He said cutting the chicken.

I never even seen Brendan hanging around any friends. He's always with me at home or at work. "Do you have any friends?", I asked raising a brow.

"Of course I do, but you see. Some of them are already married and have kids they don't have time to hang out and play pool or go for a drink."

"Excuses excuses." I rolled my eyes.
