9 | first tardy

Jisung wakes up and he sees Chenle still sleeping right in front of him. He looks at the time and sees that they're going to arrive late to school. He quickly jumped up, waking up Chenle and ran to go and get changed.

"What happened?" Chenle asked as he rubbed his eyes. Jisung turned and looked at him.

"Chenle. Hurry up and get changed! We're gonna be late for school!" Jisung said. Chenle turned his head and looked at the time. He noticed that he would be on his way to school at this time.

"Can I borrow your clothes? Nobody will notice since everyone wears the same uniform," Chenle said. Jisung grabbed a shirt and pants, he threw them at Chenle.

"Why are you being so slow! We're gonna miss first period!" Jisung said. Chenle got off the bed and started to change.

Jisung headed to the kitchen. He noticed that there was a note on the fridge.

'To my number one star,
Sorry I didn't wake you up on time for school. I just saw Chenle and you cuddling in your sleep and found it too adorable. So I let you guys sleep even more.
If you're wondering where I am. I had to leave and head to a job interview. I left breakfast for you two on the stove.
Also it's okay if you two miss first period. I will take the blame.
I love you, from your awesome mother'

Jisung heard Chenle coming to the kitchen. He quickly grabbed the note and put it in his pocket. His cheeks were slightly red once he read that he and Chenle were sleeping together.

"Shouldn't we head to school now? Why are you just standing there?" Chenle asked. Jisung turned and looked at him.

"I guess we can miss first period. It's only one class anyways. My mom said it's fine. She also made us breakfast and I don't want it to go to waste," Jisung said. Chenle nodded his head.

"That's fine with me," Chenle smiled.

Renjun threw a paper ball at Jaemin in the head. Jaemin quickly turned his head and looked at Renjun. Renjun smiled and stuck out his tongue at him.

Jaemin opened up the paper ball and read what was on the paper.

'I heard Jisung and Chenle are late. They're not in their first period class'

Jaemin turned his head and looked back at Renjun.

"How'd you find out?" Jaemin mouthed. Renjun smiled.

"I have my ways," Renjun mouthed back. Jaemin just rolled his eyes and turned back at the board.

Chenle like always held onto Jisung's hand.

"Why do you always have to hold onto my arm?" Jisung asked.

"Is that not normal?" Chenle asked. Jisung shook his head.

"We look like a couple and I don't want people getting the wrong idea," Jisung said. Chenle stopped walking and pouted.

"Whenever I made a friend. I always held their hands. It was a way of saying that we're friends. So to me it's normal," Chenle said as he crossed his arms.

"To you. Not everyone thinks of it like that. Couples usually hold hands. Not two friends," Jisung said. He continued walking and Chenle followed right behind him.

"So we just walk next to each other. Not holding hands," Chenle says. Jisung nods his head.

"Now people are going to think that we're just friends. Nothing more," Jisung said. Chenle slowly nods his head.

They finally make it to school. They walked inside the building and were immediately stopped.

"You two gotta head to the main office. Sign yourself in as tardy," A women at the front desk said. They nodded their heads.

Jisung walked in the main office and saw the book where you'd have to sign your name. Chenle slightly started to get nervous. After Jisung signed his name, he turned back and looked at Chenle.

"Why do you look so nervous?" Jisung asked. Chenle looked at the book and then back at him.

"Is this bad?" Chenle asked. Jisung shook his head.

"I've signed my name on there several times," Jisung said. Chenle stepped towards the book and saw Jisung's name there various times.

"You've been late a lot," Chenle said. Jisung laughs.

"Yea. I know. I sometimes sleep in. Don't you remember the last time I was late," Jisung said. Chenle nods his head. He grabbed the pen and signed his name.

"There," Chenle said as he looked back at Jisung.

"You're first tardy," Jisung said. Chenle awkwardly chuckled and smiled at him.

I always came to school late by like 1-2 minutes.
