3 weeks later
for the past week i have been having to puke every 30 minutes. i couldn't take it anymore and i went to the store
i got out of my car and i entered the store, someone was walking so slow and i accidentally bumped into them
"i'm sorry" i said
"it's fine"
it was luke
"hi luke! bye luke" i walked away
"hi" he said
i was walking away and i made it to that one section i wish i would never walk into, i found a clear blue pregnancy test
"a pregnancy test?"
"uh did you follow me?" i asked
"no"
"what do you want luke?" i crossed my arms
"why do you need a pregnancy test?" he asked
"it's for my friend" i lied
"i know when you lie!is it for you?" he asked
"yea" i shyly said
"with who?" he asked
"uh an old friend from high school" i looked away
"are you guys together?" he said
"why do you care?" i asked
"because kelsey i have been looking for you for the longest and i've missed you so much and i just want you back" he said
"luke i would love t-" i was interrupted
"kelsey what are you doing here?"
"SAMMY!" i hid the pregnancy test
"what's behind your hand?" sammy came closer
"uh nothing" i backed away
"show me" he reached for my hand
"no sammy!" i backed away
"nothing is behind her hand! leave her alone" luke interrupted
"who the hell are you?" sammy went over to luke
"my boyfriend" i blurted out
"your boyfriend?" sammy asked
luke smiled
"yea he's my boyfriend" i said
"since when?" he asked
"uh since today" i went over to luke and held his hand
"what the hell" sammy said "kelsey if it's a pregnancy test then forget me being in the kids life"
"fine then" i said
"have fun raising a child that's not yours" sammy went to luke
"sammy i'm not pregnant ok!" i said
"sure you aren't" he bumped my shoulder
i wish i wasn't pregnant.
i checked out and i took luke to my house, he took an uber to target so i took him to my house, i went into the bathroom and i took the test, i waited a long time after 30 years the test finally gave an answer
"o my god" my voice cracked
"what's wrong?" luke came in the bathroom
"i'm pregnant" i cried
he hugged me tightly
"it's going to be ok" he rubbed my back
"gosh i can't be pregnant" i cried even harder
"we will get thru this" he looked at me in the eye
"we?" i cried
"yes! even it's not my baby i want to be apart of their life" he held my hand
"gosh luke i love you" i hugged him
"i love you too" he stroked my hair
"am i supposed to tell sammy?" i said
"if you think it's the right decision" he planted a kiss on my head
"i'm scared" i cried even harder
"it will be ok" he rested his chin on my head
i looked at the test and i cried even harder
