i heard a knock on the door and i went over to go get it

it was sammy

"hi sammy" i smiled

"hey" he said

"come in and let's go sit down" i opened the door

he came in and we sat at the table

"so what do you need to talk about?" he asked

"so uh remember a month ago" i said

"yea?" he said

"so when we ran into each other at target uh there's some news" i didn't look at him

my legs were bouncing

"what is it?" he came closer

"i'm pregnant" my voice cracked

"WHAT?" he got up

"sammy i'm pregnant with your child" i got up

"i can't believe it" he put his arms behind his neck

"sammy i'm sorry i didn't know what we did would turn into this" i looked up trying not to cry

"but why didn't you tell me sooner?" he said

"gosh i don't know" i sat back down

"i would've been there with you to see the results but instead i pushed you away when you needed the baby daddy the most" he sat with me

"sammy would you be there for all appointments?" i asked

"of course" he held my hand

"sammy i'm sorry i'm so sorry about all of this" i cried

"it's not your fault! it's my fault i put you here in the first place" he put his arm around me

"sammy i put you in this father position you didn't want a child" i hugged him

"i'm not happy but i'm not angry either but i will support you in anything" he stroked my hair

"how do you feel" i looked at him

"i'm excited but also upset" he broke the hug

"sammy i'm so sorry" i wiped my tears

"stop saying sorry! it happens!" he put my hair behind my ear

we heard keys jiggling thru the door

"hey luke" i smiled

"hey kels! hey sammy?" he came to me

luke kissed my cheek

"well i better get going!" sammy said

"yea i'll text you for an appointment i have?" i asked

"for sure" he walked away

"did you tell him?" luke asked

"well i had too" i looked at luke

"if you think you made the right decision then good for you" he pulled me into a hug
