"So you mean to tell me that this guy sitting on your bed is a Guardian Angel sent from Heaven who has super powers to protect you? And that's what my spirit thingy is, too?"
Perhaps we should introduce Kuroo and his spirit thingy. Kuroo Tetsurou was a student in his first year of college, majoring in psychology and sociology. He wants to be a high school teacher, and volleyball coach on the side. He has had ten Guardians (Aki told him that later), the current one is the one that has lasted the longest, so far. Kenma was the name of Kuroo's Guardian Angel, a vet of the job: he's been through multiple generations of humanity, and has led many people to be great (George Washington, Harriet Tubman, Elvis Presley, just to name a few). He is currently hooked on video games, and finds Kuroo to be a bother. However, he continues to be Kuroo's Guardian Angel because his games don't work in Heaven.
"That is exactly what I am saying." Bokuto dead-panned.
Kuroo nodded, "Then... can my 'Guardian' make himself visible, as well?"
"I do not know. Kenma?" Akaashi turned to the smaller boy.
He didn't even look up from his game when replying, "What."
"Are you able to make yourself visible to Bokuto and Kuroo?"
"Do I need to?" He sighed.
Akaashi pursed his lips. "Well, I mean it would be nice."
"Fine, but don't expect me to interact with them." And with that, he blurred into vision for Bokuto and Kuroo's viewing pleasure.
There was an audible gasp from both of them when they saw Kenma, and a slight blush was visible on Kuroo's cheeks.
"W O A H." They both said.
"He's kinda cute-" Kuroo started, only to be stopped by Kenma's glare.
"I prefer to not be called cute." Kenma hissed, almost sounding like a cat. (A/N: lmao.)
"Ok. Kenma, right? Nice to finally meet my stalker." Kuroo smiled.
Akaashi tilted his head. "Bokuto, what does 'stalker' mean?"
"Um, its like someone who follows you around everywhere without your knowledge or permission. It's super creepy.
"Oh. And 'it's' is a word I am also unfamiliar with." Akaashi stated, rather curious.
"It's is a- damnit Kuroo, what's the word?" Bokuto scratched his head. "Contraption, reaction..."
"You mean a contraction?" Kuroo said, finally turning his head away from Kenma. "Ooh wait, do you have super powers too?" and it swung right back.
"Hold on Akaashi, I'll give a grammar lesson later, I kinda want to hear this." Bokuto turned to face Kenma.
Kuroo whispered to Bokuto, "Trying to give grammar lessons? Didn't you almost fail your literature last year?"
"Oh shut up." Bokuto whispered back. "Ok Kenma, super powers."
Kenma set his game down, having completed the current level. "The same as Akaashi, since those the basic pre-reqs for all Guardians. But since I have 23 Feathers, I can also see up to a year in the future, rather than five minutes; fly myself; have the string range to 225 meters, and do basic hypnosis. Which, Akaashi, you will get your abilities upped as well, when you reach this feather count." He picked his game back up and started the next level.
"Ooh, interesting..." Kuroo and Akaashi said at the same time.
"Hey Brokuto." Kuroo said.
"Yes Kubroo." Bokuto said back.
"Can you make breakfast?"
--
"So then I look down and I realize- I didn't have any pants on!" Bokuto said.
Kuroo burst out laughing. (A/n: picture his laugh. Right now. good.)
"Wait, what are you talking about, Bokuto?" Akaashi asked, worried.
"Oh nothing. It was the day before you got here, I was having a really bad day. Which I've been meaning to ask you, do you help with that?"
"Yes, I basically am here to make sure you make the best decisions you possibly can."
"Perfect."
"Wait Kenma, why has nothing changed for me then?" Kuroo turned to glare at the small male.
He promptly vanished.
"Damnit! Don't just... poof! while I'm talking to you!"
Akaashi and Bokuto started laughing.
