11. Tsunade's kill count is higher than mine

After saving and healing four different squads our team work improved considerably. Kishiko found his niche using his speed to run in and take the wounded and going back to put a barrier around them and Nagisa, while Jiraiya and I worked in tandem to cover him and defeat the enemy. Tsunade assisted Nagisa and punched any enemies who got through our guard into paste.

So far no losses on our end, considering Tsunade made for a great corpse healer. She had told me she'd never tried continuing healing the patient after they'd died since she never wanted to waste the chakra.

From there we took over the camp Konoha had set on the outskirts of Ame. Kishiko and I worked on creating an underground base for stealth purposes then deconstructed the mess of tents and fire places the previous shinobi had made. Jiraiya and Nagisa set up the base inside for long term living purposes and Tsunade went around digging up the corpses and healing them so I could revive them.

My revival jutsu brought our number count from 300 jonin and chunin to 500 jonin, chunin and genin. I found it odd that Hiruzen had sent so many genin to be cannon fodder when it did little to help with the war efforts. Perhaps the man just likes killing children?

I reassigned the now revived genin to servant roles. Of course I had to teach them how to be servants since the children only knew how to stab things. I'd created five shadow clones and taught a batch of ten with each shadow clone on the basics of being a servant.

Body massages, how to cook, clean, and assist in dressing wounds and changing bandages, as well as how to sponge bath the patients that could not yet get up. Nagisa and Tsunade could only do so much healing so the medical ward in the base was filled with wounded people.

Jiraiya was in charge of teaching the chunin and jonin the tactics we'd be using in the upcoming fights that Shikako and Hiruzen had made while adding the plans we'd made during the debrief a month back.

Nagisa went about putting her healing seals on the wounded since her uzumaki healing ability drained her too quickly, while Tsunade sometimes killed her patients before healing them as corpses when they were being too rowdy. She said it helped to have the patient dead when their poisoned but it felt like an excuse to just kill people to me.

She built her reputation of being an evil medic among the wounded and no one dared get on her bad side lest they get killed and revived. Though the revived were unusually chipper for being recently killed.

Finally we got around to saving Hatake Sakumo and his squad from the enemy camps after whittling the enemy down to size with hit and run tactics. Moral was higher than ever, and many of our shinobi started laughing when their partners were suddenly killed in the battlefield. Making bets on who died the most and who had the most entertaining death.

I was glad my revival jutsu did not take much chakra. I could revive hundreds in a day without tiring too much. I did try teaching it to Tsunade but she had little to no understanding on the seal that made it work so she couldn't get the hang of it. Though my organ rebuilding jutsu was learned by her and perfected in a week.

I had no choice but to teach her that one since most of the shinobi were killed from being impaled with rock jutsu. I also needed to build a prison below the base since we sometimes revived the enemy on accident. It was difficult to know when the enemy was unrecognizable, dirty and naked. Most of our shinobi were fire nature'd after all and they usually burnt the clothes off the enemy.

"Kishiko-kun, can you tell where Sakumo is located?" I asked the boy as we scouted just outside the Iwa campsite. Their camp was barely hidden among the stone cliffs and had been rather easy to find. Jiraiya had given us some seals to hide our chakra completely so we wouldn't get spotted by their sensors.
