Few years ago

My Mom asked me what. Would I choose~

Being a housewife with a simple life ~

Or a Career Woman with a challenging life ~

I choose to be challenge being a career woman who has a say in the world, than a housewife who will stay at home and wait for his husband to come ~

Right now, napag isip isip ko. Ang pagiging Housewife ay hindi isang simpleng bagay.

Yes para sa iba boring ang pagiging isang simpleng may bahay. But for me, rather US the housewives who are waiting for their partners to go home is not a bad thing to do.

Really its not that bad. If your waiting for the man you love to come home will it bore you?

It gives me fulfillment every time He kiss me and praise how good I cook. The way he holds me tight when he gets home as if I'm going to run away from him.

Its been 4mos since we started to live together.

I turn on my mp3 player and plugged it in the amplifiers. I know any minute now he will be home.

' a hundred and five is the number that comes to my head, when I think of all the years I wanna be with you '

I wanna be with him for more than a lifetime.

'Wake up every morning with you in my bed, that's precisely what I plan to do.'

I wanna wake up every morning that I get to see his sleeping face.

It always make every morning brighter, brighter than the sun rays.

'And you know one of these days, when I get my money back, buy you everything I show you, all the finer things in life.'

Ayan na. Speaking of the~~

He kissed me passionately.

"Welcome home babe" I manage to say after the kiss.

He only smiled and continue singing

"No forever be enough, so their ain't no need to rush.

But one day, I would be able to ask you loud enough.

I say Will You Marry me"

Lumuhod sya sa harap ko.

'I swear that I would mean it'

He opened a box with a ring inside it. A ring with a Diamond in it.

"I say will you marry me, Love?" he looked at me in the eye.

"Yes" tears started to fall in my face "Yes I will marry you. Oh my God" I hold the tears.

I want to see things clear.

The way he insert the ring in my ringfinger.

Im so overwhelmed that I hug him right after the moment he stood up from his kneeling position

I no longer hold back the tears. So his shirt is now wet from my tears.

"Oh my god Art. Thank you" I'm so overwhelmed that I cant find words to say.

"Sshhh No babe. I should be the one saying those words to you." he faced me and holds my face between his hands. "Thank you, thank you for accepting me in your life...and I have a surprise for you. Hope you will like it." He kissed my forehead and clapped two times

He move to my side. And now I can see my best friend standing right in front of our doorway.

"Oh my god Nick" napahawak ako sa bibig ko sa sobrang pagkabigla.

"Good to see you Rie" he look in my bulging tummy and he smile.

That smile hurt me. A bitter smile from my best friend is killing me.

"Yeah me too."

I hold onto Art's hands. I feel something icky is about to happen. I don't like that smile.

"Ahmm Rie can we talk" he looked at Art and then back at me "Just the two of us."

Tinignan ko muna si Art. And he's looking at me. I smiled and nodded.

"Nick I trust you pare" sabi ni Art kay Nick bago umalis at lumabas ng apartment na tinitirhan namin.

"What is it Nick? I told you not to find me."

"Well you never get back home, and besides I don't find you. He find me" sabi nya pointing at the closed door.

Napakunot noo naman ako sa sinabi nya.

"Nah never mind. You doesn't have to know everything Rie. Congrats by the way" sabi nya sabay turo naman sa tyan ko.

Umupo ako sa One seater sofa at tinuro ko sa kanya yung katapat nito. Umupo din naman agad sya.

"Thanks Nick. What brings you here?" naiilang ako na nandito sya. Naiilang ako kasi alam ko may kasalanan pa ko sa kanya.

"A car, I think" sabi nya na kunware ay nagisip pa.

I throw him the throw pillow on my lap. And he just wave it.

"Hahaha baliw ka parin pala Nick" I feel more comfortable when were like this. Just goofing around.

"Yeah afgj baliw parin sayo" hindi ko na narinig yung ibang sinabi nya kasi ang hina masyado ng boses nya. "Ang panget mu na ngayon Rie, wahahaha"

"Abat" kitamo to pinagtawanan pa ko. Inambahan ko ng suntok at napataas naman sya ng dalawang kamay.

"Hep hep I'm just stating a fact here. Alam mu naman di ako marunong magsinungaling." sabi nya at inabot ulit sakin yung throw pillow "Pero ang pangit mo na talaga Rie hahahahahaha" tumawa sya ng malakas.

Pinaghahampas ko nga.

Then suddenly the door opens and there stood my fiance, Art.

"So I guess your both Okay now? Bati na kayo?" he asked me. Palipat lipat ang tingin nya samin ni Nick.

I nodded and walk my way towards him. I kiss him on the chicks and murmur my thanks to him.

"No problem babe. Happy?"

"Of Course. I'm happy." I hold onto his hands and faced Nick "Dito ka na magdinner Nick para makapag kwentuhan naman tayong tatlo and meron pa namang vacant room dun sa canteen, dun ka muna mag overnight" I said.

He just nodded and smiled.

I wish this night would never end. Many things happened this day, and I never wanted it to end.
