Entry #09

Art's Pov

As I was making my way to the East Pacific Garden I recieved a text message from Dra. Salazar and choose to ignore it.

Then after a few minutes my phone started ringing on the dashboard.

Dra. Salazar Calling....

Again I chose to ignore it. Right after the call. A new notification appeared on my phones screen.

1 voicemail received

I decided to open it and stopped the car.

The moment I finished listening to the voicemail. My World suddenly fall apart.

Why did this have to happen?

"Arthuro this is urgent we have to talk about your upcoming operation. Your chances of surviving the operation is very low......you only have 30 percent chance to outlive the said operation. Im sorry Arthuro."

I keep on playing Dra. Salazar's voice message repeatedly. Wishing that this is just a sick joke.

'God what do I have to do now?'

I look at the sky trough the windshield of my car desperately looking for answers.

Nick's Pov

East Pacific Garden

Finally were here. This is the venue where the wedding will be officiated by Justice Delly De Guzman a friend of mine.

"What are we doing here Nick? Another fridate?" Rie asked me.

She started to wiggle her way out of my car.

"Dahan dahan kasi. Tsk exited lagi ee. Wait lang kasi Rie" I get down on my car and help open the doors for her.

"Oo na inaapi mo na naman kami ng anak ko." She hold onto her tummy then started murmuring "Anak sisingilin natin ng malaki yan si Nick pag nagbigay ng pakimkim nya sayo ha. Wag ka magalala makakabawi din tayo dyan sa lalaking yan"

I cant help but smile.

'Pasaway talaga tong babaing to pati anak dinamay pa sa kabaliwan nya'

"Osige kontsabahin mo pa yang anak mo. Kumbinsihin mo pa syang maigi Rie." I help her to get out of the car and guided her to where the benches are located.

"Syempre naman. Nako Anak wag ka tutulad dito sa Ninong mo babaero yan. Gumaya ka kay Daddy pogi na faithful pa"

'Pano magiging babaero kung ikaw lang naman ang babaeng minahal ko'

I smiled bitterly. I cant voice that out. Im over that phase.

'I'm happy for you now Rie'

"Aray ko naman Rie. Di pa nga pinapanganak yang inaanak ko sinisiraan mo na ko. Grabe ka sakin" I help her sit on the bench and sit few meters away from her

"Tsk inaapi mo kasi kami. Porket masyado ng malaki ang tyan ko tinatawanan mo na lang ako" she punched mo on the arm

"Sino nang api? Ay kawawang bata. Lika sumbong natin" I stuck my tounge out and jokingly nudge her

"Tse epal"

My phone rang.

Art Calling...

I immediately answered the call

"yow pre"

"Are you with Lex right now?"

"Yep andito kami banda sa mga bench alam mo---"

"Okay you guys stay there, papunta na ko dyan"

toot toot toot

The line went dead.

I looked on my phone screen and saw that the call was ended

"Binaba na pala, bastos na bata"

"Sino yun Nick?"

"Ang prince Charming mo buntis tumawag na. Papunta na daw."

I saw her smiled sweetly and hold her tummy lovingly.

I took a picture of her secretly.

'Remembrance'

After this wedding I decided that I would let them be.

Art already promised me that he will be safe. He just have to undergo a surgery and he will be fine.

So I guess this is goodbye.

'I wish you happiness Rie :)'

After a few minutes of waiting Art finally arrived.

"Lexi lets talk" He dragged Rie from the bench and guided her to his car

I was shocked to see how rude Art treat Rie.

'This is not happening right?'

"STOP" i shouted from the top of my lungs "Whats happening here? What are you doing Art? Your hurting her"

I grabbed her hand and keep her from Art's reach.

"Mind your own buisness Uy I want to talk with her Alone" He seriously said with a poker face.

"No. If you want to talk with her then talk"

I will not let this bastard do that again to my  Rie

"Fine. Lex were over. I dont love you anymore"

"You son of a bitch" I let go of Rie's hand and grabbed his colar "What are you doing right now? Is this some kind of a joke?" I hissed out on his face

"No. Im dead serious."

"Son of a bitch"

I was about to punch this bastard's face when Rie grabbed my arm.

"Stop." She calmly said.

How can she be so calm in a situation like this? This is bullshit.. This day is supposed to be their wedding. And look whats happening right now.. This motherfucker ruined everything...
