Katniss' pov

The annoying noise of nails tapping fills the classroom. I'm stuck in English with a teacher who has extremely long, fake red nails. She is constantly tapping them on her desk, I glare at them hoping if I glare long enough her hand will blow off

' it's not gonna work stupid' Annabelle says.

' hey! I'm not that stupid'i exclaim

Someone enters class late, I don't look up. There's no point, it's normally one of the jocks, or also known as; jerks

A mouthwatering scent fills the air. It's of strawberry, vanilla and...joy?.
My head snaps up to find the source of the scent. I see a boy standing at the front of the class. He's got ashy blonde hair, mesmerising blue eyes, a crooked nose-probably been broken. He's muscular, tall, power radiates off him like a way

His eyes lock with mine, he smirks. Damn he's se-woah woah! I have never called anyone sexy before. What the hell is wrong with me?

' nothing!. He's our mate stupid!' Annabelle shouts In my head

Mate. He's my mate, holy freaken pineapples!. I remember him, he's the alphas son of the dark sky pack.

'Because we're in the middle of class'I answer her, she grumbles

He sits next to Alex, a jer-I mean jock. His blue eyes stay locked with my grey ones. I finally look away, to Ann's displeasure. I get out my notebook, which I write songs in when I'm bored

"Ms everdeen...katniss"the teacher snaps.

Annabelle takes over, not only is this teacher pissing us off, she was checking our mate out

"WHAT!?"she roars in my alpha voice it scares everyone including the teacher

"pay attention or get out"she says.

I pick my stuff up and walk out, giving he the finger as I leave.

She technically can't give me detention, because she said pay attention or leave. That was a offer to leave, so if it's anyone's fault, it's hers

I end up going to my happy place, the woods. I sit in a clearing, covered in flowers. There are asters, roses, Daisy's. The list carries on, I planted them all.

I hear a branch snap before me, we've been on high alert for rouges or lost wolves lately. I spin in place, my arms up in defence

I notice it's only pe-wait what?! Why is our mate here. Not that I'm complaining, he looks extremely good in this light

"so what's my mate doing out here?"he asks, walking closer

'He's so hot' Annabelle says, I roll my eyes at her

I keep a straight face, I'm not going to let him know he effects me and my wolf like this

"well you saw what happened"I say, in a duh tone

he smirks, stepping closer. His scent fills my nose, making my stomach do backflips

' kat he's so hot!' Annabelle says, seriously? What's her problem with his hotness

"so how come I don't see you at school often"I ask. He steps closer, I step back

"I was home schooled"he says, I nod

I smirk, getting a idea. Annabelle is telling me not to, but I ignore her

"You should come more often, there are a lot of hotties"I say, his eyes darken.

"Yeah. I've met the girls"he says, I roll my eyes.

He's trying to catch me out, let me tell you, Annabelle is going crazy. Myself? I'm slightly jealous, but I know how to play this right

"I've noticed. The guys too, god
Some of them. Freaken gods"I exclaim. he growls

He steps closer, I take two steps back. I smirk, his eyes are switching from blue to black. It's a sign that his wolf wants out

"I might go find one now. I think his name was josh"I say, spinning in my heel

In a flash he's Infront of me, his hands on my hips. Sparks shoot up my sides, making me gasp

"Mine"he growls, pressing his lips to mine

Tingles spread across my body, in the good way. My arms move round his neck by their own accord, my fingers running though his hair. We finally break away for air, he smirks down at me

"your mine and only mine"he states my wolf takes contral now

"yes alpha"I say, I scold myself for letting her have control

We decided to let our wolves out. I shift first, into my pure white coat. I look up and see his wolf starring at me in surprise

His wolf is grey, with ashy blonde patches. His eyes change from blue to black, letting me now his wolf is in charge. I let Annabelle take over too.
We speaks out time running around like idiots, and licking each-other

I notice gale talking to Annie. Panic courses though me. Gale. How am I meant to tell him I've found my mate?!

Them again we knew this was happening, his mate is still out there. He just has to find her

I shift and go to my room, undetected. I lay on my bed thinking about today, wow. A lot has happened
