Chapter four

Katniss' pov

Annabelle has been complaining to me all morning. Telling me not to go along with my plan, but I've just ignored her

The thing about mates is, we get jealous easily. If another person of the opposite gender come near our mate, we freak, wanting to kill them

What makes it worse for peeta is, he's a male. Not only is he a male, but a alpha at that. I hope no one dies today, it has happened before.

Alpha Jason, of the pack east of us, had found his mate, but she had many boys hitting in her, which angered him. One day a boy walked up to her and starting flirting, and tried making out with her

Key word; tried.

Alpha jason killed him instantly, after that they both left school and started a different school, a little farther away.

I hope we don't have another case like that, or I'll be in so much trouble

I pick out a black cropped top, with rips in the side and straps. A pair of black, floral print shorts, a pair of tanned wedges, a pair of sunglasses and my favourite hat.

I did my normal makeup, adding a dark crimson lipstick. I put in my sliver bird belly button ring, my bronze ear cuffs and a few rings.

I have to say, I look hot, yet cute. The point of dressing like this is to show as much skin, without looking like a slut.

'Even though we shouldn't be doing this, we do look great' Annabelle comments.

I smile, grabbing my bag and walking downstairs. My parents are doing alpha duties, thank goodness. If they saw me dressed like this I'd be send back upstairs to change

I smile, walking to school, peeta will probably murder the boys that look at me.

As soon as I enter the school gates I have boys checking me out. Being a alphas daughter has it perks, we get a great body. Toned and filled out, by the age of seventeen we have the body of a twenty-one year old

'ugh, their so annoying' ann comments, as a few boys start to follow

My plans already working, I grin at the thought.

' I know, but that's meant to happen'I
Reply, she whines at me, wanting to back out of the plan.

I walk brush passed Peeta's beta, his names finnick. He's tanned with gleaming green eyes, I have to admit, he's hot, but not as much as peeta is.

I hear the normal comments as I pass, boys try to hit on me all the time, gale just sends them away.

I notice more boys commenting then normal, saying thing such as;

'Damn she's fine'

'Id like to hit that'

'Shes smoking'

You know, normal teenage boy comments.

I hear a low, anger growl down the hall. Everyone, even the humans, lower their heads and show their necks in submission.

I spin in heel to see finnick, his beta, trying to calm peeta down. It's pointless, once a alphas pissed, he'll stay pissed all day.

I walk over to my friend group, who are how standing by my locker.

" you look sexy"Johanna comments, looking me up and down

I laugh "thanks jo you look fine yourself"I say, checking her out

she's wearing a pair of black skinny jeans that show off her butt, and a grey crop-top and her signature black leather jacket.

"a girl can try"she resorts. We both laugh, as the group walks to homeroom

I throw a glance behind me, I catch peeta glaring at me, his eyes flickering from blue to black, and then settling on Amber.

I just shoot him a smirk, before engaging in the group conversation about who's the better superheroes

Thoughout the day I catch people starring, even a few teachers, which was disturbing.

I always noticed how the same group of three were in all of my classes now. I figured out by the scent they were in Peeta's pack, probably someone he sent to check on me

So now I'm putting my books from earlier into my locker, everyone already in class, I decided to hang around till they were gone.

I heard a set if footsteps, I ignored it. Which a terrible Idea, because I soon feel a hand snake around my waist

I spin around to come face-to-face with a human boy. He's got black hair, styled to the side, brown eyes, and pale skin. He's taller than me, with some muscle, not much.

Yes, he has goodish looks, but the smirk on his face disgust me.

"Hey baby. Wanna skip" he suggests, I internally gag

'Ugh, he's a pig'Annabelle groans

she's right, once again. I'm about to snap at him, when someone cuts me off

"You better get the fuck away from her!"the voice is strong and powerful. Defiantly peeta.

The human boy detaches from me and scurries off, I almost laugh

I spin around to see peeta, he's practically seething. I'm about to question him, but he pulls my arm and drags me out of school

We walk around to the back, we're no one can hear or see us.

"what do you not get about your mine"he growls, I smirk, drawing out a breath

"No. I'm a free person, you don't own me, no one does"I answer, glancing up at him

"Actually you belong to me. No one else is allowed to touch you, talk to you, or look at you the way I can"he says, a devilish smirk pulling at his lips

"Who says?. If you didn't already notice, I'm dating gale, he can touch me whenever he wants"I reply

He emits a low, furious growl at gales name. Before I can look at him, my back is pressed against the wall, my wrists pinned by my sides

"your mine! Not gales, do I make myself clear?!"he snarls, I look up in thought, before meeting his angry eyes again

"No, you see, your telling me I'm yours right? But why am I dating gale then? Doesn't add up"I say, raising my eyebrow with mock-confusion

That was the finale straw, he's shaking in anger. A smirk plays on my lips as I watch his expression, somebody doesn't like to share.

I'm about to speak again, but he completely cuts me off, by pressing his lips to mine.

Annabelle now takes control, i don't really mind, I've already won.

I kiss back, which he smirks at, the grip on my wrists lessens, I pull my arm out of his grasp completely and snake my arms around his neck.

It was all fine, until gale came walking round the conner.
