A mission with pain {zurie's pov} I let out a sigh as I walk towards pain's office 'I have a bad feeling' I thought to myself as I reach his door, I knock a couple times I hear a soft 'come in' so I enter shutting the door behind me. I stand in front of pain with a worried konan behind him as soon as I see that I become completely serious "what's wrong" I say my voice coming out harsher then I expected it to, they both slightly flinch at my tone. Pain clears his throat "you, konan and I are going on a mission" pain says I nod "and what's this mission about?" I ask "we're going to grab the nine tails jinchuriki" pain says "when do we leave?" I ask "in an hour" pain says "yes pain" both konan and I say. I get dressed in my new battle armor and stare at myself in the mirror

I stare at myself and sigh "a war is going to start soon" I mutter to myself I look at my clock 'shit better get goin' I thought as I walk towards the front door, I pass through the living room and the rest of the guys stare at me "damn girl you look sexy as hell" Hidan says with his perverted smirk "I don't have time hidan" my face still stone cold a long with my voice being deadly serious they all gulp.
I stand in front of pain and konan "let's go" pain says "hai" konan and I say as we make our way to the leaf village. As we got closer and close to the village the pit in my stomach kept getting worse and worse 'oh dear lord father jashin please please let my feeling be wrong' I thought.
I'm hiding in a tree I look at konan to see her hiding skillfully in a bush I let out a mental sigh I look down and see pain trying to hide behind a tree, I sweatdrop at him I look at konan and mouth the words "really?" She looks at me and stifles a giggle. The shinobi we've been watching go to report to their hokage pain jumps out behind the tree and attacks them, they try to defend themselves but end up failing miserably. Pain summons the other paths "it's time" pain says the others nod and one of them throws the female pain in the village successfully setting off the alarm. Everyone in the village goes into panic as the other pain's and konan fight and cause chaos I calmly walk around 'naruto isn't here' I thought to myself . I open my wings and fly towards konan's chakra, i get there just in time to see her get punched (not in the anime but why the fuck not) my right eye becomes fully white and my left eye becomes fully black white flames surround my right wing and black flames surround my left wing my appearance turns into a Phoenix like being, phoenixes appear around me and start healing konan they stare at me in fright as I attack them "HOW DARE YOU HURT HER!" I scream at them flames surround my hands as I punch a random shinobi, the dude screams a blood curdling scream "MAKE IT STOP!! THE PAIN!!" The man screams as his entire body catches on fire (I can't remember exactly who fights konan but eh) shizune and Sakura stare in terror as they watch his body melt away his screams filling there ears I look at their faces and smile a sickly smile "konan get out of here and go wait with pain" I say she gives me a questionable look "wait? Why wait?" She asks "naruto uzumaki isn't here. But he will be soon" I say konan nods "be careful zurie" konan says I look at her and smile warmly at her "I'll be fine but you need to watch yourself" I say she smiles and flys off I look back at the medical ninja "why hello again Sakura haruno" I say with a smirk she gulps and gets into fighting stance "didn't I tell you I'd kill all of you if you hurt the akatsuki again?" I ask my flames growing bigger and stronger "you know her Sakura?" Shizune asks "ya I do" Sakura says I just stare at them flying above ground "look i'll explain later" Sakura says and attacks me, I sigh and my flames throw her back burning her sleeve? Thingy??? I don't fuckin know!. She quickly takes it off and throws it "you're lucky I'm not even using my chakra" I say there terror grows as I say this "y you're lying.." shizune stutters I raise my eyebrow and smirk "am I?" I ask as my flames grow. My flames keep Sakura in place as I grab shizune "no!" Sakura yells as I stab her in the stomach "leave her alone!" Sakura screams I glance at her and slowly cut shizune's cheek down to her collar bone Sakura start crying and I sigh "I need to wrap this up" I say and kill shizune "NO!!!!" Sakura screams I release her and fly towards pain "he isn't here" I say "are you sure" he says "positive" I say pain just looks at me "something new happen?" He asks "obviously" I say while playfully rolling my eyes. We all fly upwards "I shall now cleanse this pathetic village" pain says a black orb appears above pains head I stare down at the village as pain leashes his jutsu on the village. Everything is destroyed we all go down back to the ground I sense powerful chakra coming this way "konan" I say she looks at me "yes?" She asks "you need to get out of here. Go protect nagato" I say before she can respond "NOW!" I yell at her she nods and quickly flys towards nagato "NARUTO!!!" I hear the annoying pink bitch yells "get ready" I say he nods. Naruto soon appears on top a frog who is onto another frog who is on top of another frog with two other frogs beside the big toad naruto looks around "where are we?" Naruto asks himself "hate to break it to ya but this is leaf village" I say he looks over at pain and I "did y'all do this?" Naruto asks "hello naruto uzumaki" pain says (I can't remember jack shit!). {time skip} Naruto and pain run at each other relentlessly attacking each other I roll my eyes and sigh and look over at hinata 'one day hina just one day' I thought and continue to watch my opponents. I hear someone get hit and look back at the fight to see pain stake naruto to the ground, hinata runs towards naruto and knocks out a couple of the poles but pain quickly almighty pushes her into the air I grin and fly towards hinata kicking her into the ground creating a crater, naruto looks in terror and soon the nine tails cloak surrounds him. Pain has naruto in his jutsu (don't judge me I can't fuckin remember jack shit) as I watch kurama almost break out of the jutsu I just smirk 'I'm sorry kurama....but I can't betray them' I thought to him 'it's ok miss...I understand' kurama thought back to me "such power" pain said "sure is" I say. The nine tails power subsides and naruto breaks out of the jutsu my feeling gets even worse "pain I'm going towards the thing" I say "why is that?" Pain asks "I have a horrible feeling" I say he nods "be careful" I say "I will" he says my flames grow even stronger and I fly quickly towards konan. I enter the tree and deactivate my Phoenix mode "konan. Nagato" I say they look at me "zurie what's wrong?" Konan asks concerned "something bad is gonna happen" I say "what doe-" konan starts but gets cut off my nagato coughing up blood I quickly run towards nagato same with konan and I heal him "h he's coming" nagato says "who?. Who's coming!?" Konan asks frantically "naruto uzumaki" nagato and I say together. Naruto enters the tree and konan and I stand protectively in front of nagato "hello again" I say he looks at me and glares I just smirk even more "who are you" naruto asks nagato "I'm nagato" nagato says. I appear in front of kurama "hey.." I say softly he looks at me with sadness "hello my queen" kurama says "I told you to call me zurie" I say with a sad smile I walk into the cage and stand in front of him he lowers his head and I place my hand on his nose "I'm sorry" I whisper "It's ok" kurama says "we know you don't want to but you have to" kurama says and his ears fall flat on his head "you're a great queen" kurama says a tear of pure diamond runs down my cheek "thank you" I say. I come back to reality to see nagato dead and konan crying and naruto gone "why is he dead!?" I yell out in shock "he sacrificed himself to revive all the people in the leaf!" Konan cries out, I quickly rush towards nagato and cut my right wrist I draw the kami symbol and summon Kira "oh my what happened?" Kira asks "WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE!?" I yell at her. Kira's and i's powers surround nagato and my black and white flames surround him as well my wings appear and I fly above the ground I start crying and singing
Kira disappears and I quickly run towards nagato hugging him, nagato chuckles dryly "you're gonna kill me zurie" nagato says in a raspy voice I quickly let go and wipe away my tears konan rushes over and hugs nagato.
"We should go" I say they all nod "y'all go ahead of me ima go gather yahiko" I said as I flew off towards the leaf. I see everyone praising naruto, and sigh, I fly past them and grab yahiko's body "hey yahiko.." I say softly "one day I'll revive you. I promise" I whisper.
I stand in my room 'I'll hold on to his body for a while' I thought to myself as I lay yahiko's body in a coffin in a corner of my room.
