ELLIE'S POV
shawn and i were on our way to shawn's families house. i was excited to see them they are always very kind and caring. we arrive at their house and we get out of the car.
shawn rings the doorbell and soon after karen answers the door. "hey you guys!" karen says and gives us both huge hugs. "where's dad and liyah?" shawn asks. "in the living room come let's go." we go in the house and see manny and aaliyah sitting in the sofa.
"ellie!!" aaliyah says. "aaliyah hi!!" i give her a huge hug. "hi ellie" manny says. "hey manny" we hug as well. "wow i feel the love guys" shawn says and everyone just laughs and they go and hug shawn.
"anyways come on let's go eat!"
i sit down beside shawn and aaliyah on my other side.
"what have you two been doing?" karen asks.
"you know going on dates as much as we can without being really seen" shawn says.
"it must be hard for the both of eh?" manny says.
"yes it gets kind of hard at times but we will get through it" shawn states.
"you remind me a lot of me and your dad" karen says.
"really?" i ask
"yeah no matter how hard it is you still continue to love one another unconditionally."
a smile goes to my lips and i start blushing as well as shawn.
"anyways let's stop talking about me and shawn for a sec how are you guys?" i ask.
"we are doing fine just working and stuff"
"what about you aaliyah?" shawn asks
"doing school"
"what about your boyfriend how's he doing?" shawn asks
"he's doing fine" aaliyah answers
