They are following me and they want to kill me. I don't even know why. I am running blind. The dense forest made me invisible from their sight. What have I done wrong? The trees are watching me. I'm not safe.

They are right after me. They want to kill me. That's all I could think of as I kept on running. I felt my legs protest and my chest constrict, but I have to keep on moving. Why are they after me? Why do they want to kill me?

"Don't let her get away!" I heard them scream from my right.

I don't know where I'm going. The forest is a nature's maze at the moment. I could get lost and get caught. I have to survive. My clothes made it uncomfortable to run. I trip onto a root. I gasp as I felt the wet grasses against my chest. I push myself up and run again for my dear life.

I reach a clearing. The sun is hiding beneath the gray clouds. The chilly wind blasted, causing me to be pushed sideways. Ignoring the protest of my body, I keep on moving forward. I quickly came into a halt, nearly fell off a cliff.

They are here. They are going to kill me. I can see them coming closer. I glance down, if I jump, I could get drown or worst. What am I going to do? They are coming near. I got nowhere to run.

"I'll - I'll jump!" I scream but I know it's a useless threat for them.

They laugh. "Oh, sweetheart, you wouldn't do that - "

"I will!" I made my point by moving a step backwards. I could see fear in their eyes. Why are they afraid?

This time the laughter subsides. They know I'm not joking. They are scared to return empty handed. "Surrender, and your life shall be spared."

"Never." I said. I glance down. The cliff meets the ocean I know I would never made it out alive and it will also happen if I go along with them. I gave them one last look before I let the wind take me. I close my eyes and I know I'm falling... I am falling... falling...

I'm lying on a warm bed wearing dry clothes. Where am I? I quickly stood up. I felt the ground turn and my vision dimmed. My knees gave away and sturdy hands got a hold on me. These hands picked me up and place me on the bed again. When my vision cleared, I saw a handsome person sitting by the foot of the bed watching me. Handsome is not the right adjective for him but that is the first word that pops into my mind.

His dark hair contrasting his eyes making it pop-out more. He has pink full lips and pale complexion. What amaze me the most are his eyes; it's as green as the open fields. They hold wonders and mystery at the same time. I don't know how long I was staring at him but he never made a single sound at all.

"Hello," I said as I pull myself to sit.

He stare at me and smile. "Hello."

"Where am I?"

"At my house," he stood up and grab something from the table adjacent to the door.

I stare at my surroundings. The room is painted with pale cream and there was a make-shift forest painting on the walls. Right across the bed was a bookshelf filled with books, beside it is a study table.

I glance down to see that I'm wearing a shirt twice bigger than my size and clean underwear. There are a lot of questions running in my head. I want them all to be answered but I don't think he will give the answers I wanted.

"Here," he sat beside me, placing a tray filled with food in my lap.

I grab a piece of bread and chew it. "Can I ask you something?"

He nods. "Sure."

"Where am I?"

He looks at me, his eyebrows met. "At my house."

I roll my eyes at him, which made him smile. I caught my breath. He has the smile that could melt all polar ice caps. "Where is this house?"

"At some place," he shrugs and laughs at the glare I threw at him.

"Yeah, right," I murmur. I took a mouthful of the bread. "Do I, um, do I know you?"

His smile faded and was replaced by a frown. "No, you don't know me."

I shook my head, frustrated. I don't know what's going on. I don't who I am or who this guy is.

I heard him sigh. "You can't remember anything." I hinted disappointment in his words. Before, I could speak, he stood up and leave the door closed; which is not a good sign.
