"What did she have?" I asked anxiously letting madam help me put on my robe.
"I don't know sultana," she said making me nod for her to leave and find out, she bowed and left the room.
I walked over to the vanity table and tied my hair sideways before stalking over to the window seat and plopping myself down on the sofa.
I looked out of the window waiting anxiously for a piece of news if she has a son I fear she will try to kill my lion so her son will be oldest, may Allah protect my small lion who was now nearing his first year in this life.
After what felt like ages madam walked back in just before the sun started rising, she walked over to me and bowed looking distressed.
"What did she have?" I asked standing up almost feeling the tears of fear build up in my eyes.
"I don't know what to say, sultana," she said looking down making my heart drop.
"She had a beautiful sultana," she said grinning brightly at me, I after being scared like this plopped down to the floor losing all of my strength with so much stress.
"You didn't have to scare me like that madam, I feared she would have a son and get the idea of killing my little lion so her son would be the eldest," I said making her laugh and walk over to me to help me up and get dressed because we both knew that I won't be getting any sleep as Mehmed's waking time neared.
