I sit on the couch staring blankly at the TV.
"I'm gonna stay home so I can be here for you." My mom says and kisses my forehead.
"I'm fine." I tell her.
"You're not fine, Katsuki, and I know that. It's okay. You're never going to be ready to face this. It's normal. All I need you to do is push through the day. Maybe try to eat a little. That's all. I know you can do that." She tells me.
I nod. I know she's right. I stand and go to my room. I change into sweatpants and a black hoodie. Mom excused me from school today so I could have time to relax.
I go into the kitchen to see dad kiss mom goodbye before he leaves for work.
"Bye kiddo." He says to me and leaves.
I sit down and mom gives me a plate of eggs and bacon. "You don't have to eat it." She tells me.
I do.
There's no point in not eating. Although my stomach tries to resist the food.
Once im done I go into my room and lay on my bed with my phone. Everyone's been blowing me up asking if i'm okay. It pisses me off more than anything when people who didn't even know him are saying stuff like. "We'll all miss him." and "I'm sorry."
They're not sorry. They won't miss him. They don't know.
Kirishima texted me.

I don't text him back. I can't talk with anyone right now. My mind is too angry at the universe for letting Deku die.
As I lay there memories of Deku fill my head and tears fall from my eyes. I've never cried this much in my life.
