DJ held Kath close to him as he unlocked the door to his dorm building, checking for security before pulling Kath further inside and into the elevator, pushing the button for the third floor where his room was. "Now we're in the clear," DJ said with a proud smile, making her laugh.

"Is this just for boys?"

"Yeah, but I promise it's clean. My Mom wouldn't let me live in a hole." DJ recited, making her laugh and he chuckled, running his fingers up and down her bare arm, smiling more when he saw her get chills from it but she looked contented. He didn't want their night together to end either, he never wanted to take her home.

"Do you see them a lot?"

"I go to their house for dinner every Sunday, they only live about a half-hour drive from here... I spent the afternoon watching my little brother play soccer, so I saw them for a few hours today too before I had to come back here and get ready for our date," DJ said with a smile and Kath grinned.

"What's your brother's name?"

"Adam, but everybody calls him Jordan," DJ said with a chuckle.

"But if they live so close, why don't you just commute? Isn't that cheaper? You have a car..." Kath trailed off, feeling DJ lead her out of the elevator and the ground changed to carpet, although it felt like cheap and worn carpet.

"Yeah, but my Dad is a lawyer and my Mom is a doctor - I'm lucky enough that they can afford to send me and Jordan to college and we can afford to have our own dorms if we want to... I wanted some independence. Plus, I can go to all the parties I want and I don't have to sneak back in." DJ said, chuckling and Kath squeezed his hand.

"You're the partier, huh?"

"Nah, I don't get invited," DJ admitted, laughing when Kath burst out laughing and he unlocked his dorm room door. "Now, this isn't as fancy as Marlann's and Pamu's dorm rooms, okay? I don't have my own kitchen, that's at the end of the hall. But I have a bed and a couch, a TV, and my bathroom is in the same place Marlann's is, so it's right here." DJ placed her hand on the wood of the door to the left as they walked in and Kath felt where the doorknob was before feeling for DJ, smiling when he took her hand in his and laced their fingers together.

"And for a boy, your room doesn't smell bad or anything." Kath teased, making DJ burst out laughing.

"What, you've been to a lot of boys' houses?" He mocked and Kath pinched his palm, laughing when he yelped but he just held onto her hand tighter as he guided the way to the couch, letting her hit her white cane against the couch gently so she'd know where it was.

"No, but I've overheard enough conversations about young men and their bad hygiene and their mess." Kath teased, squealing when DJ tackled her onto the couch, but he was careful that she wouldn't bang her head or hurt herself. She smiled as he connected their lips and she kissed him back, touching his face for the first time, smiling into the kiss as she felt his short facial hair and they slowly pulled away from each other when air was desperately needed. DJ didn't make any attempt to move from being over her, though.

"You're so beautiful, you know that?" DJ breathed, tracing her facial features delicately with his fingers.

"No... I can't remember what I looked like before... I can't remember what anything looks like." Kath said honestly and DJ pecked her lips.

"Then you'll have to take my word for it," DJ said softly, making her smile.

"H-Have you had sex before?" Kath asked and DJ's eyebrows creased together in confusion.

"Yes."

"Did you... love those girls?"

"I thought I did, but then..." DJ trailed off.

"Then what?"

"Then I met you," DJ said honestly and Kath smiled.

"You love me?"

"If this isn't love, I don't know what is," DJ said honestly. "I don't demand restaurant menus to be printed in Braille for just anybody, you know." He joked, smiling when it made her laugh.

"I-I think I love you too," Kath said, kissing him back when she felt his lips against hers. "And I want you to... to have my virginity." Kath breathed.

"Kath, no... no, it's the first date. I don't want you to think that I only did all of this to sleep with you, because I didn't-"

"I know you didn't... you, Marlann, and Pamu are the first people to treat me like a normal person and... and you're so amazing, you cared about me without even knowing who I was... I can't think of anybody more perfect to have my virginity with than you."

"Well, maybe Marlann and Pamu, but..." He chuckled as Kath smacked him in the chest playfully, but she was laughing with him.

"Stop ruining the moment." She urged and DJ chuckled, pecking her lips.

"Fine, but come on." He said, standing up.

"Where are we going?" She asked, nervous she'd scared him away.

"I'm not having sex for the first time with my girlfriend on my old couch."
