Bio: Born 400 years ago, Ryn was born the second child of the demons, Zephir and Kima Kanjohv and is the younger sister of Resha Kanjohv. When Ryn was five, her parents disappeared and her older sister ran off, leaving Ryn on her own. This was when she was found by the lightning dragon, Zinu, who took her in and raised her as her own. At the same time, Zinu taught the young demon her lightning dragon slayer magic.

At some point, when Ryn was still a child (around eight years old) and when Igneel and another dragon sent the child, Natsu Dragneel, and Gajeel Redfox four hundred years into the future, Zinu did the same to Ryn, in an attempt to both protect the girl and help the world.

Upon her arrival, Ryn was found by a member of the Fairy Tail guild who took her to Master Makarov Dreyer. Other than her history with Zinu, Ryn had no memories of her past, including her parents, sister and the fact that she was a demon. From her perspective, Zinu had just up and abandoned her.

After some time, Ryn met Quill Sherbroak, a girl a couple of years older than her and a master of air magic. She also had the ability to use some healing magic.

Not long after, Ryn found an egg. When it hatched, Ryn became a sort of mother figure to a purple-colored cat that she called Tiny. Tiny, like Happy and Carla, turned out to be an Exceed. Tiny is very loyal to Ryn and the rest of Fairy Tail. She also deeply cares about Ryn and does what she can to help her.

Ryn was present during the S-rank test, having stowed away on the boat (a decision she later regretted) and thus was on Tenrou Island when it was attacked. She, along with the rest of the guild, was subsequently put in a seven-year long sleep where they didn't age. Quill was also present, having stowed away trying to keep Ryn from getting into trouble.

Like many of the first generation dragon slayers, Ryn is prone to severe motion sickness.
