[Apparently I just never posted this one on here which I'm pretty sure I did but ooookay]
For days, for months, I've been trying to translate my feelings into words
But you leave me speechless every time I try to write about my fascination for you
My ability to write dissipates and I repeat myself
I can't seem to unravel the mysteries in my mind that I have yet to solve
Though I have no doubt someone with eyes as dangerously blue as yours couldn't care less
After all, you've achieved a platform to declare the inner machinations of your mind
While watching, I speak the entire time
I am unable to stop myself as I tell my friends
You are the one who with a mere gesture reshaped my world
Crowds laugh and cheer from your witty performance
They bring me back to Earth
They remind me you flourish on another plant, another solar system I could never survive in
And they leave me speechless, just as you have
They shut me up and shut me down
For you have a world to rule and someone else to help you
You and the very crowd who worship your footsteps
Leave me to wander the Earth with a chest anchored to the ground
My muscles far too weak to carry myself any farther
As every fiber in my body feels heavy and deprived of rest
