I can hear the drip drip drip of the raindrops of my roof
Close my eyes and listen to the wind blow on by
I can see you standing in the moonlight
Let's run away from it all
My feet go numb in the frozen winter
I can barely feel you leading me
Do your hands throb from the cold
In the same way my heart does for home
Let's run away and escape to somewhere else new
No shackles can chain us down
Death can never do us part
We'll find each other again and again
But for now let's just have a home
And listen to the drip drip drip of the raindrops on our roof
Let's keep our eyes closed so I can see you tonight
