the three villains waited for jay to come so they can set up a plan. jay came into the room, cheering himself on because he got into the team. "did your plan work with jane? are you going over to see the wand?" jay asked mal, "do you think that i would be going through every single spell in this book. if i hadn't completely struck out?" mal snapped, "someone's in a bad mood." carlos mumbled, "my mom's counting on me! i can't let her down!" mal flicked carlos's head, "ow." he mumbled. "we can do this!" jay said, earning all their attentions. "if we stuck together." jay finished, "and we won't go back until we do. because we're rotten." mal continued, the four all looked at each other. "to the core." they all finished.

"oh, yeah. i found out that fairy godmother blesses ben and max with the wand at coronation and we all get to go." evie states, earning everyone's attention. "i have nothing to wear, of course." evie finished, she looked at all of them. "what?" she asked, then a couple of knocks were heard. mal stood up from her bed, "hold that thought." she says, opening the door to reveal ben, before he could speak. a bunch of screaming and laughing stopped him, he cocked his head to the side as someone accidentally bumps into him. it was parker, who quickly apologized. "you ok—" "parker! give us back our shoes!" a familiar voice yelled. they all looked down to see he had two heels in his hand, parker slightly giggled. "what is it with you and our shoes. are you like addicted?" max asked, grabbing the shoe and smacking the back of his head with it. mal snickered, "oh hey guys." max smiled, putting on her shoe back on. "alright, see ya." parker said, as sapphire pulled him away. before max could walk away, ben grabbed her arm and wouldn't let her leave.

max looked behind mal, seeing carlos and dude together. carlos was already staring at her, he waves which she shyly returned. evie smirked at the two, "hey, mal. i didn't see you guys today. we were just wondering if you had any questions or anything that, you needed." ben asked, putting an arm around max. "off." max joked with no emotion, ben immediately taking his arm off getting some giggles from all four of them. "not that i know of." mal answers, looking back at her friends. "okay. all right. well, uh, if you need anything, just, uh." ben hesitates before walking away with his sister.

"oh, wait!" he heard and quickly went over to her. max smiled, he's whipped she thought. "um, is it true that we all get to go to your coronation?" mal asked, maxine nods smiling. "yeah, the whole school goes." ben explained. "wow. that is beyond exciting. do you think that it's a possibility that the four of us could stand in the front row next to the fairy godmother, just so we could soak up all that goodness?" mal sucked her teeth, asking. maxine scrunched her nose sighing, knowing why she wanted to be in the front.

ben's smile dropped. "i wish you could. up front it's just me, my sister of course, my family, and my girlfriend." ben stated, mal nods. "and max's boyfriend, if she had one." ben joked, max flicked his head as he glared playfully at her. "and you're girlfriend?" mal asked, ben and max looked at each other before looking back at them. "yeah. i'm sorry." ben said, mal looks down thinking of something. "okay. thanks bye!" she sang, ben tried to stop her but she closed the door. max snickered next to him, he softly pushed her.
